Hmm... Interesting... Which email address did you send the mail to? My email about their down time recently never got replied... April seems like a long time though, I really want to have my site up as soon as possible.

.tk and smartdots are not a dns services, they're both redirections. .tk doestn't work on RoadRunner connections (what I'm using), so I definitly would not use it. I signed up for smartdots, but they required a selectable ad to put on your site. I don't really like it... If anything better than uni.cc can be found, I would go like

I use afraid.org and I think that it works okay for me, I never had any problems and I use it as a nameserver to point to here.

cjb.net DOES offer DNS. I'm using it right now. You have a choice of DNS or redirect for it. However, you are right about .tk. It doesn't offer DNS. I don't really know of many others that offer it...

Wow! that service is amazing! Thanks! YOU GET A TOP OF THE LEVEL DOMAIN AND A SUBDOMAIN FREE + DNS! ALL FREE! I TRIED IT!

I use cjb.net, it's easy, and works great with Trap17 I hear, when I get my hosting credits I am going to set it up with my cjb.net domain, by the way, you can find cjb.net here http://www.cjb.net/dns.html

oh, my bad. You have to register the domain first. Does anyone know any free domain name registrars?
