Well, if you are really new, I'd say first get familiar with what PHP looks like. You can go through a series of lessons from w3schools.com as mentioned.. But from then on, you should really start working on something you want to do and just learn along the way. You'll use www.php.net for function searching/reference and dev.mysql.com for sql reference.. You learn the best when you've got to do something. It's more fun this way too.

Php Template Class I Started
and a good way to see how to fail template class (1) Althought it works, and maybe some users can even use this class for some simpler websites, this is
not a good way to create class. I cant really explain why, and i'm publishing it so maybe people
with more experience in template design can help me figure out how to create PHP templates. Looking

Php Include Root Ref
whats the root? (6) Every one knows that we can include files in our site, so we have a folder with 2 files, an
index.php with a menu.php included. But they are on the same folder, what if we wanted to make a
relative reference for it, so we will always put include("/files/menu.php") and it will always work
wherever that file is (the file calling the include). Ive had troubles with this, as it doesnt seem
to be working, i have to change to the dot notation (like ../../../../../files/menu.php) in order to
keep my includes right. Does any one know what the root is for the include or how can ....
