Well if there was no internet, I would probably be 50 pounds lighter, have a better social life, and probably even have a successful marriage. I probably would have bought a lot of porn mags too

Without the internet? Gee, I'd probably play a hell of a lot more of my PlayStation, and spend a lot more time reading actual books (instead of forums and other various internet sources  ). Not to mention I'd probably waste less time, and study more. The internet is a great resource, but because of its versatility I find it really easy to be sidetracked, and end up wasting a lot of time on it. Then again, there's a lot I've gained/learnt from the internet, but it really does make you wonder, what a world without it would be like.

I would've been reading more, playing consoles and probably would've been a lot more of a waste of space trying to program games and programs in a different programming code. On second thoughts in that case, I definitely would've studied a bit harder while in uni and put more effort in things. I am passing, but there have been times where I could've done better.

well i dont know wat i would be doing. i would probalby play my ps2 alot more, read, spend more time on school related things like clubs sports and such. i wouldnt be fixing my myuspace all the time and trying to learn about game |design and i wouldnt be trying to learn how to code games.

If there was no internet I'd go out and then come home later and probably watch tv for the rest of the day. Or I could go to a friend's house if I needed internet for something important

It would be dissaster but I think the internet is growing popular and bigger evry second you look at your computer  .. but there is always a chance to send thous post letters and draw on paper and send to others lol.. but I think I would go crazy after first day without internet..

Without Internet, I would do things without using the Internet, such as playing hockey, biking, swimming, playing board games, doign math, etc. The Internet takes over a lot of our lives, but we can't forget the part that is not taken over.

That is a hard question because I do enjoy the internet quite a bit =/. Although if it never existed in the first place I guess I would really miss it much XD. I would probably end up watching television, playing console games, and possibly reading. Art would also be a large hobby of mine

Broadband In Gas
Carrying internet over gas pipelines (5) I recently read about a company called Nethercomm that is promoting a broadband in gas technology.
Apparently, this company has some patents pending on devices that can be installed in gas pipelines
that go to commercial and residential buildings to provide the "last mile" connection for broadband.
It appears the technology is based on radio frequencies propogated down the gas pipe as a wave
guide. Nethercomm boasts data rates up to 40 Mbps are possible to the home. Anyone know of any

Internet Telephony - Any Experiences?
