i think Firefox is much better than IE. I had been using Explorer until a few months ago, when i download Firefox (and changed WinME to Win98 because Firefox doesn't work on WinME). the browsing is totally different and much easier.
i tried downloading Opera a couple weeks ago when i learnt that it was free and with no ads, but when i was going to execute the installer, there was something wrong with it and i couldn't install it. i've downloaded the installer again, and that happened again. Opera dissappointed me.
You cant really say which browser is better because it is partially a personal preference and it also has to do with compatibility. Yes, firefox is more W3C frinedly and does numerous things the right way but the problem with it is the IE has been around for so long that many websites are specifically made for it, thus appearing wierd to firefox users. That is why i voted for IE just because it is more compatible. In a few years though, this will be a tough choice since a new version of IE is coming out and web designers are starting to go by the standards more and are moving away from making IE only websites.

I think IE is better because we are using Windows and Ie is match with widnows IE 7 is really deferent i dont know you are testing IE 7 or not but i test it and i think microsoft accept IE6 is not good browser and in ie 7 try to fix problems and ..........
i think i've run into this question and poll like what seems like a hundred times in this forum. You should do a search and see how the browers faired over all and maybe rephrase the question. Might get different results.round
Sigh. And we thought slashdot dupes were bad..... In any case, Opera rules but doesn't have extensions like Firefox (more specifically Adblock and Scrapbook), Firefox rules (esp. the Deer Park betas) but it a touch slow, and IE just sucks.
I like my Internet Explorer version 6. I've tried Mozilla Firefox (but only because my Internet Explorer stopped working due to a hard drive crash, but now i'm back to IE again), but i prefered Internet Explorer. One thing i like about IE is that i can access my Trap17 website via FTP with it. Mozilla might be able to do that, but i'm not sure. And i've never tried Opera, and i probably never will, as i'm satisfied with Internet Explorer.
Of course Mozilla Firefox is the best internet browser. There are too much viruses invented for IE, I use IE only for some websites that mozilla can't open properly, I also tried Netscape - too much stuff that I dont need. I didnt try opera, but I dont think it will be better than Mozilla Firefox!
internet explorer is not safe,it always disturbed by plugins, ads software, spyware and so on. mozilla firefox not good to use, especially opened the newpage on the same window but opera can solve it. so i choose opera
I love FireFox. I use it all the time. If you ask me, Firefox beats IE any day. Firefox is so much more versitile, costimisable, with all those themes and add ons. Im suprised Microsoft hasnt picked up and allowed plug ins and themes as well. GO FIRE FOX! Elegost
I think Mozilla is the fastest browser, but Opera is more user friendly. You don't need more browser windows open. I think Opera is the best all-round.
I have a serious problem on my main PC. Firefox refuses to open. It goes directly to the crash
report, listing the add-ons that failed on startup. I managed to launch it from the Run window into
Safe Mode, and again it crashed immediately, but this time only listed one add-on: MovePlayer. The
uninstall instructions I found require a Firefox capable of loading. I'm running Windows XP and
have no listing for Move in my Add/Remove Programs dialog. What's my next step?....
I’m not suprised by this. Chrome auto updates itself without my consent (although I did consent for
it to autoupdate in the EULA /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0"
alt="tongue.gif" /> ) and the installation is so force (like not being able to customize anything…).
Things like that are usually signs that the company’s attitude towards the costumer is less that
perfect. Big corporations, that’s what you get. At least it’s open source, so it’ll probably fare
well (if google doesn’t manage to tank the whole thing). It’s not like browsers that ....

alt="biggrin.gif" /> I was wondering if there is a better browser than IE in Vista ?? Coz its

A while back I somehow stumbled upon some Google-run blog, where I saw a post about the quote
unquote Google Browser. It looked interesting, so I downloaded it. After installing it, I found out
that it was pretty much just a Windows version of the command line Lynx browser (any old timers
here?) with a nice installer. It's interesting to browse with Lynx - no images, no JavaScript,
no CSS, just straight out text and form elements. I could barely imagine using Lynx for my
day-to-day browsing. Here's a screenshot of Gmail in Lynx:....
QUOTE " Tor works through a technique called onion routing, which uses numerous routers through
which communications will pass. As data passes through points on the Tor Network, each point knows
only where the data is going and where it came from. As the network grows, it becomes increasingly
difficult to trace a connection's origin. eWEEK Labs has been impressed with the functionality
of Tor-based tools such as Vidalia, but these tools require full system installs and lack
portability. Hoawever, a recently released tool makes it very simple to get up and runni....

Last year, I downloaded elinks, a text mode browser, but didn't put any serious use into it
until today. Some features that got my attention was QUOTE * It is text mode, meaning I can
run it when X won't start up, over a low bandwidth SSH link, or when I just don't feel like
looking at graphics. * More control over how pages are displayed. I very often don't like the
colour schemes that webmasters think are great, and in elinks, ignoring their choices is as simple
as pressing %. But if I do like the color, it lets me use it! * ECMAScript and CSS ....

In the last few weeks Netscame returned from the dead. It is now reincarnated for the eigth time but
in only 7 days after its appearance lot off things happened to it. Practicaly right after its
appearance a few security holes where detected and only a few hours later a new improved version
8.0.1 came out in which security holes where removed (it would allow hackers to gain access to the
computer) and a few anti-spyware tools added. Later it was also discovered, that Netscape needs IE
installed for it to work!? /rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' a....
