| | For graphics, I use Photoshop CS and Fireworks MX 2004. The batch function in Fireworks is particular useful. For PHP, I used Komodo, Ultraedit and Dreamweaver. Komodo is a little bit clumsy, Ultraedit often will do. Frontpage is totally useless. For uploading, FlashFXP is my choice. |

I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 with Fireworks MX 2004. It's fast and easy especially when editing graphics. For ftp I using Dreamweaver bulit in FTP. Nowadays I seldom use Photoshop for graphics unless I am resizing very big images as Fireworks is just to slow when working on big graphics. For motion, I use Flash MX 2004. Hardly work create gif animations since flash grown very popular. Maybe someday, someone will write a software handle most task in web instead of using so many stuffs. I simply to lazy to switch back and fro all the time.

I use Dreamweaver Studio MX Education Edition, it's the easiest web development software I've found... and I've bought a few, MX blows them away!

I use two different editors.. notepad and Macromedia Dreameaver MX. I use either Microsoft Paint or Macromedia Fireworks MX for images.  ..I wanna get photoshop soon, maybe next year in college.

for me, i use dreamweaver for my html. a very good program for amateurs to start havin websites. bcos of its WYSIWYG concept. for graphics, fireworks and photoshop. great for image editing with lots of features and effects.. again, no need to be a pro to achieve great results with these programs...

Well, I used to work with MS FrontPage (for HTML coding, offcourse) but then I realized how bad it is and I got Dreamweaver ( I think version is not important). Now I'm working with Dreamweaver for HTML and PhotoShop 7.0, Illustrator CS for graphics. I don't use flash animations very often, so when I need them, I open Swish Max. P.S. I also do PHP in Dreamweaver (editing scripts )

I mostly use HTML for my sites and PHPBB for forums. I use Notepad, CrimsonEditor, and the Cpanel file editor to code and edit, SmartFTP to upload, (I don't have the links to CrimsonEditor or SmartFTP on hand, but I'm sure someone linked to them in these forums.), mostly PaintShopPro for graphics, and I have a Wacom tablet to draw things straight in.

Transfering A Joomla Site

My New Site Template
Heres a new template of mine done in photoshop (3) This is my new template I'm going to be using for my new site. It took me 3 days to do. I spend
day 1 drawing it up sorry I cannot upload my draft sketch as my scanner is not working. The next 2

A Small Html Problem
How to display foreign characters correctly when designing a site. (5) I was wondering how I could solve a small problem. I was told that some people see accented and
umlauted letters (such as " é " and " ë ") as question marks (" ? ") on my website. I come across
the same thing sometimes when looking at websites which use non-English characters. Funnily enough,
the other day, I looked at a site and the apostrophy ( ' ) was also shown as a question mark.
That is a very common character usually, I would think. I thought it had something to do with the
character encoding settings, and let me also mention I use Mozilla Firefox as my brows....

Site won't let me in because of it. (5) Boy, this is a new one for me. I know enough about the Web to know that it is possible to detect the
