Ive been working on my site for about 3-4 months, and its mostly a site, for friends, music and games. I just wanted to put the IPB b/c of the games and the Army System, not really for the forums, but maybe someday it will be usefull, although i dont know what to make the topics on. But anyways, i hope you guys like it if not......its ok:D

hi i think your site is great. anyways.. i just wanna ask you what ftp adress did you use cause i'm trying to upload my files using ftp but the problem is that i can't connect. i'm using ftp@spanky.trap17.com as an ftp address and it doesn't connect. i'd be very grateful if you could help me by setting an example or by telling me what ftp address you're using. and i'll replace spanky to your domain. thanks very much.

I think it needs work. For one, the music took forever to load (and i have a cable connection) and it was annoying. You should atleast have a player to stop or start it so that if you dont want to hear it, you can stop it.

Secondly, a good site should not have a specified size needed for it to look good. So you should try to make it look fine no matter the window size.

Thirdly, your link for making it a homepage should have a different title because its confusing.

So overall, your design just needs some work. Your content is pretty good though so u have that goin for you.

Firstly, I started your page about 3 minutes ago and it's still loading, so I don't know what the big box is in the middle. Whatever it is I really think you should make it smaller.

Secondly, your page is written in java applet (mainly) which I credit you for because I could never do that but it appears it slowing down the page loading time by minutes!

Oh it's an image of the forums not an iframe! You should definetely decrease its size and set the border to 0.

Fourthly, you should think about organization and a layout that will remain through your website. Organize things through <table> and think about a consistant font size, colour and style. Use css to give your site this touch.

Fifthly, what's the count-up timer for in the top right hand corner. It's not the time obviously, you should say what it is.

On a positive note, you have a good navigation system and your logo's very nice and you have a good stable text colour throughout the page.

If you only want to do one thing decrease the centre image!!

I really appreciate the comments, and i do think that i should take some of the applets out, b/c it does take a while to load on a modem connection, i checked it out at my friends house, but yeah ill decrease the image size, it really did used to be an iframe, but it took way longer to load, so then i just made it an image.

oh, and by the way, the videos page, doesnt work well, b/c the website from were i get the videos decided to only have some of them work, b/c they were using too much bandwith, they should be up whenever they get a new server!

Your website is very confusing. To make it easier, try using a set template on each page. Make it match, easy navigation is a must. If users have to think they aren't going to do anything but hit the x on their browser.

We live in a lazy society. Simplistic and fast loading is the way to go. Use Internet Explorer as your base for your design, if it doesn't work their, start over cause that is what the general public uses.

Well Trap17 gives you IPB v1.3 or 1.2, i cant remember, but with tthat version you cant put the Army System and many other Mods that you can add to v2.0. Thats why ive got IBP 2.0, but yeah you can get it from the cpanel addons!

And thanks for the comments, i probably will put a general layout on my website, and more graphics.

It's good, but out of place, maybe rearrange some things and ad some images that fit it it should look a ton better. Two big suggestions: first, where, or is there any, control to operate the sound. Next, draw it out before you build it. Other than that. Lookin good

I guess your site is good, but it needs work, like others have said. My opinion is that your site is hollow, it has blue background and icons that are put around the site. Use some graphix.
I think you should first consider whats your objective, how it will look like, try to do things first on a sheet of paper and then you should try do it in you website building program.

I hope you don't mind my thoughts.
