I use powerDvd for watching dvd movies since i believe it is the best DVD software out there since it does wonderful stuff for audio. For any other movie i use Winamp since i like how it can use Dee2 to make the audio sound awesome on my 7.1 speaker system. Plus, you can use whatever plugins you like on movies if u dont have dee2 or what not

I use BSplayer. Its really good and so far it has played anything I put on it. It came with a lot of codecs for free. PowerDvd is good for dvds, I have it as default.

I use Windows Media Player for most of my stuff. I just like the look. Anything that doesn't work in Media Player goes to VLC. VLC is quite a good player, put I don't like there look. And WMP has addon's and a media library etc. But its a little pushy on computer resources. So basically, I am set for life with WMP and VLC. Until VLC has a music library option, I won't be switching anytime soon.

Definitely MPlayer http://www.mplayerhq.huIt's really good, a small download, free and complete. And if you like a nice user interface, you can use SMPlayer http://smplayer.sourceforge.netSMPlayer is built exactly on MPlayer, just making the user experience a bit better. And, oh, I never had a movie that couldn't be played with MPlayer.

Mostly I use the Cyberlink PowerDVD, it was bundled with my DVD writer. PowerDVD gives me more control over the visual settings and sound effects. The controls are really cool. Thats why I like it. My next preference is VLC media player. It can play almost any format of video...so I use this to watch all the formats not supported or giving problems with powerDVD.

i use cyberlink power dvd and im think that its ok. it could be much better. more options like zoom can create this software better. what do u think? Dear friends I always use Windows media player, and obviously for some reasons like sound effects Jet Audio. But three years ago I found some problem with them that is to say some of friends suggested me to develope one of my own and I did this was due to some basic reasons and facilities which my friends were in need of. Like playlist of audio and vedio files combined together and playlist of vedios etc. And due to which I developed my own using the MP control in VB6.0 and named it as SKN Champ. And using it successfully now.

My computer has CyberLink PowerDVD pre-installed on it. I barely use it, anyways. I'd rather watch it on my plasma or LCD

Primarily, I use WinAmp for watching all of my videos and movies. When it comes down to DVDs-- I use Windows Media Player. It's always been reliable for me.

Lightweight Free Anti Virus Software?

Video Editing Software

important so listen up: It must not require my computer to have sound. I messed something up, so the
sound is not working. This is causing my Windows Movie Maker not to work - since it requires some
stuff. I know that I should fix this, but I will be getting a new laptop in a few mon...
