| | what i use most is flash, for the full design. then i use photoshop and illustrator to the side for the graphics, allthough i do lots of ghraphics in flash. |

I tend to use basic templates which I then embellish a lot more in dreamweaver, and edit the pictures in photoshop. However, I like to create pictures and graphics with Xara as they can create some pretty nice effects which photoshop can't replicate!

well, my opinion? Havent used Dreamweaver yet... bout to tho  . Right now i use: Microsoft Expression Web Adobe Photoshop CS2 Paint -Side Programs- Flock FireFoxIE Core FTP (Should me a direct link...) Diino (Image Uploading, used in some of my sites) Hope This helps.

I use Notepad to organize my coding and Adobe Photoshop CS3 to create images and such. And paint sometimes, but these are the only things I use, I don't know much about other programs.

I am strict when it comes to this topic. When designing a website Iuse notepad and only notepad. The graphics will be run through photoshop. I rarely (don't think I ever) go out of that area. I don't know flash that well, so I never use it unless required to for school.

Dreamweaver is really good. With Fireworks, it gets better. Flash makes it even better.

I use my windows version of Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. It works great. However, I sometimes use Notepad++ ( Link) for raw code editing.

I really think that macromedia is, or was.. its adobe's now... anyways, I think its the best software suite for this type of media, the only thing they are missing is 3d. I use notepad+photoshop though. I tried GIMP but I just couldnt stand being without photoshop, it is too good for designing, though a lot of people prefer fireworks, which I feel is very limited when compared to photoshop. I guess those people dont really know how to use photoshop.

Looking For A New Web Editing Program
I need a new web designing program (13) Ok, I am a web designer and I am having difficulty finding a good program that I can use that as
what i'm looking for. Now I have been using TSW Webcoder but it is causing alot of errors for me
and am getting sick of it wiping clean some of my site files. Well I am looking for a program that
has a wysiwyg editor, sort of like the quick edit used in TSW Webcoder but a more powerful one with

Dreamweaver, Front Page

Dreamweaver's a good Webdesigning Studio (22) I recently downloaded Macromedia's Dreamweaver 8, and I can say that it is the greatest
webdesigner that the world has ever seen! The only problem is that it costs too much money in my
tastes, but otherwise it is perfect! Does anyone know of a webdesigning studio that does not
cost any money and that can be downloaded off the internet? I tried using Notepad++ (search Google,
I cannot recall the site) and it is a coder, but not a webdesign. It doesn't actually show you
what the site will end up looking like, but it shows you colour-coded codes for your sit....

banners, etc. I'm getting Adobe Photoshop CS for Christmas , and then I'll be using both.
I find PSP easier now, but friends of mine who use Photoshop say that it's easy to use.

Dreamweaver Permissions Issue
Access denied when trying to FTP (5) Okay, so I was trying to FTP these files over dreamweaver today... and it seemed to be working fine.
But then, certain files won't let me transfer from my hard drive to the internet, or the other
way around. It gives me this error message: QUOTE An FTP error occured - cannot put form1.html.
Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem. Anyway, I know
that the file does indeed exist. I've opened it on my hard-drive... and it is there. But it
won't let me upload this one or certain other ones with the FTP. So I went o....

Whenver I go to download a cool website template, it always say "This website template was made with
Macromedia Dreamweaver". I have tried Dreamweaver from a free trial from www.adobe.com, and did not
