Because people love the easy interface of Windows and because people don't know enough about Linux.....It's as simple as that.....
I prefer linux and support it completely
I think the problem is that most new PC's and laptops come with some form of Windows XP.
Most (like 90-95%) of laptops and desktops always comes out with Windows XP Home or Professional. I haven't seen one comming out with SuSE, Mandrake or RedHat Linux. I have only seen computers with Linspire though.

I use Windows XP Professional and windows 2000
I use windows 2000 and debian linux.
I don't want to use windows after win2k. But if my work needed , I will. For personal use, I reallly like debian linux.
using WindowsXP pro now ,but I perfer Linux.
How long does it take to download Linux on DSL?
