it, and you can still download from the site... Buzz is a modular soft synth studio. It gives you
hundreds of synths, sounds, drum kits, effects and filters, puts them at your fingertips and lets

really no limit to what this thing can do.. I just found a vocoder on here /biggrin.gif'

RIght now, I have Macromedia Studio MX 2004. I have no problems with it, but I've heard that
studio 8 is also very good. I know that 8 has some inprovements, but is it worth paying another 400
dollar to upgrade? Thanks in advance....

I just got a E-mail form pinnacle systems today saying that November 1st will be the release date
for version 10, and upgrades are available now for preorder. I hope that version 10 will be much
better that version 9, because i don't want to pay another 70 bucks for somethinbg that is just
about the same as the one before it....

yeah, macromedia is coming out with mx studio 8 in a few weeks, soposetivly. The box is the same old
black design. I wonder what new and usefull features will be coming in this new edition. I'm
expecting some more actionscript, and some more pre-scripted stuff. Just building on all the stuff
they have now. who knows, mabie it'll be a completely different studio, or a new program...

We're looking into getting a studio set up, but no one i know has a Mac, which is what we
thought we'd go for. So i have no idea what we'd need, spex-wise. any advice on what is the
minimum & recommended Mac specs for studio recording? also, how would a PC measure up to a Mac in
that respect. -- since a PC is alot cheaper, will it make an obvious difference? someone suggested
we get one of the new ipod minis, but frankly it looked a bit small and weak. --not to mention the
hard drive size. ...

Anvil Studio is a small, easy-to-use music composition program. It supports over 100 instruments,
synthesizing, external sound-creation devices (like microphones), and can create MIDI files. If you
are into music composition and you don't want to spend over $100 for software, this is a
good choice. The negatives would be that it can't create or export .MP3 and .WAV files, but you
get what you pay for (which is nothing - it's free!) I myself have used it, and I must say
it's pretty good. It's not the best, but it is good. Anyways, enough blabb...
