My day dreams actually tend to have a blue/purple quality to them--that is, while having them, I tend to stay conscious of my surroundings, but everything's in a purple/blue haze. It begins as regular people say things that provide a deeper look into their personality, and usually escalates to situations in which a wrong choice could mean the end of someone's life. I often have to choose between my own life and that of another--and, unsurprisingly, I almost always choose to save the other. I also tend to daydream frequently about the consequences and implications of love--if situation X happened, what would person Y do? X and Y can be anything (Y can be me, as well)... Sometimes they are quite morbid, too. On another note, when I imagine something, my vision of everything around often goes black, and I see what I'm imagining. It's so realistic that I can physically sense everything I imagine--which is why imagining pain isn't pleasant for me. If I imagine someone's hand getting chopped off I actually feel exactly as if my hand had gotten chopped off--the place at which it was severed hurts for a second or two, then my head has a flash of white pain and I stop imagining it. Perhaps daydreams--even regular dreams--are simply tests of our subconscious to see what we would do. An emulator, of sorts. It produces a situation in which any action we take does not actually have consequences, without alerting us of this "safety". Perhaps it is to form opinions and to develop the personality, simply through a quick, in-the-moment test. Perhaps we are only dreaming of daydreaming. Perhaps we're not dreaming at all.

i notice a few people saying that they daydream cause they get tired during the day or they nap alot.. what i don't get is what do you guys consider daydreaming? i mean cause when you say day dreamm.. people think is it when your slping in the day and having dreams.. or when your sitting around and your mind just wonders off but ur still awake.. because thats what daydreaming is to me.. well as discussed since highschool.. when im napping and i dream.. i jst call it a dream.. night or day its the same thing. I guess i day dream about parties alot... like i think about what type of party a person could have that would be the wildest party ever.. or sometimes i think who would be there.. what would happen.. or i day dream abt if i was singer how famous would i be or how far would i get.. how much money would i earn or even what type of house would i be living in. things like that

- An easy trick that really works. (10)
So many people forget their dreams in the first few minutes after waking up, but there are some
tricks to keeping then if you would like to try it. It takes some practice, but it really works.
Anyway, it did for me. First of all, at night just before you go to sleep, tell yourself that you
want to remember your dream. Try to think about that as you are drifting off. Then, just as you
start to wake up. Do not open your eyes or move too much. Start immediatly thinking about the
dream you just (hopefully) had. Run it back through you mind, try hard not to let any...

First, I was soooo happy to find that there was a spirituality forum! I have a looooot to share
in this field >:D Second, English is not my first language so there will probably be errors in what
I write and maybe a lot of misused words since I have never wrote about this subject in English. So
please, if you find such errors, tell me so I can correct them. (: Everything I'm going to
share here is based on Carl Gustav Jung's works and studies. This will help you a lot to analyse

Why Are We Dreaming?
- All the things are happening for a reason, So dreams are for what? (12)
I saw that there are lot of topics about their dreaming experiences and problems regarding to the
dreams. But have you noticed that why are we dreaming. I believe that all the things happening in
this universe is combined together. each of the natural phenomenas have a relationship among them.
So dreaming for what?. One of my physics lecturer said that dreams make human more civilized. He
said that naturally the human is just a kind of a beast. The secret of civilization of human is
dreaming. I mean that not the having hopes, just dreaming while in sleep. It may quite m...
Can You Read In Your Dreams?
- Another hidden talent discussed here? (24)
Okay so the topic is pretty straight forward. "Can you read in your dreams?" So what brings this
topic up? I heard recently that when you are asleep and in dream land, that it is supposed to be
impossible for you to actually read anything intelligible ( like signs or instructions). It has
something to do with the different parts of the brain and how they are functioning when you hit
sleep mode. Anyways I found this really confusing because part of my problems in figuring out
whether I am asleep or awake sometimes is that I can read in my sleep and it's regular words...
Psychic Dreams
- Seeing the future (10)
Dreaming The Future Many people believe that dreams are a warning of whats to come. I am one
of these people. I believe that dreams are a sign, if you can interpret them correctly, you can know
what to expect. I didn't used to be a believer, but strange things have happened to me, in the
last 2 years or so, that have totally changed my opinion. Many people probably won't believe
me on this, but I'm going to tell you a 100% true story about a dream I had, and what heppened.
(This was about a year ago) I had a strange dream, I saw my grandad gardenin...
I Keep Having Realistic Dreams?
- (4)
Hi there. I keep having realistic dreams. I mean, they are so realistic that they fool me into
thinking I've done something that I really haven't done. Like last night I had a dream that
I sent a text to someone and I looked into my outbox and it wasn't there. It was so wierd. And
I could have sworn that I sent it to him. It was really strange because I woke up in my dream, sent
the text, and went back to sleep in the dream. I was so freaked out in the morning. . . I was
just wondering, is this normal? And I can also feel and smell and taste, which ...
Dreams Effect
- dreams effect on life (0)
Scientists say that dreams are just replica of our natural life. what ever you see and think just
that comes in your dreams. But most of the people believe that dreams effect on our daily life.
Dream readers say that watching a light, elephant, stars, etc... makes good fortune. and black hole,
eating etc... makes reverse. And there is also a saying that dreams in the early morning comes true.
I have a few personal experiences which came true with above (may be thats coincidence). And It
also seems correct that we watch dreams as we see and think in our life. My qu...

For all you dream-a-holics ( meaning those who dream frequently when sleeping) what would you say
your top three strangest dreams are? This is a hard question for me to answer because most of my
dreams are strange ( or as some of my friends say as they laugh at the inner most workings of my
mind "Just freaky!"). I'll do my best to pick the "strangest" ones to share.
