browsers come in variety o find the best is challenging but firefox has establised its foot in the market by the browser it provides read this about Which browser i have and my experience of using them.....But overall firefox and internet explorer 7 rockz i have used four browsers till date 1.Firefox 2.Internet explorer 7 3.opera 4.Internet explorer 6
the one which i like most is IE 7.Its because its fast and doesn't hangs up particulary not in Vista..not to describe about this because no words can describe it .
the other one which i like the most is firefox which i use in my desktop....its works really fast in Operating systems like XP,ME and others..indeed it rocks
Watever its great that firefox is offered for free...if there was charges for it then what would have happened .GOD KNOWs
At last great thanks to firefox manufacturers ...its important to mention about then without any mention of them this post is useless because today firefox is used by so many of us....i am correct na ......
I started to use firefox some 4 years back. I was using internet explorer previously and my knowledge was to the extend that i did not even realize that there could be a better browser.
Then one of my friends introduced me to this facinating piece of software called Firefox and the only thing that he pointed out is "Tabbed browsing", which was very useful to me as I am a kind of person who browse through 100ds of pages at a time and IE was not able to handle me at that time. Firefox was just what i wanted. Then i went ahead and started exploring more about firefox and it has so much to offer to geeks like me...
Now i have come to an extend that i cannot live without firefox and in the absence of firefox i avoid browsing. I always used to carry my portable firefox in my thumb drive so as to avoid using net without Firefox. Firefox makes my browsing easy and happy.
If at all there is a piece of software that can be ranked 1 for the decade, my vote is to Firefox.
I guess i forgot to mention the addons and features. Real Beauty !!!
Also, when it comes to loading the pages faster, Firefox is again the best. So to be true i am in fact addicted to Firefox bigtime.
So, what do you think i would have done with all the above?? i have recommended atlest 500-600 people to use firefox and in that atlest 200-300 of them have started to use firefox and getting addicted to it..
You have a story to say? we are here to listen... So post your story.
Notice from rvalkass:

You can get opera for free if you want to...Just search in google...Remember...Google is your friend...Right now I'm using firefox and I think its better than opera and ie...
i have got vista at home and i quite like ie 7 but also i have downloaded firefox and am loving it1 i have downloaded the win aero theme and it is absolutely amazing! the only downside to it is slow loading graphics but i'm sure mozilla are working on it? :S
I use firefox but I must admit IE7 is a great evolution (IE6 was unstable and it had poor browsing options). Opera isn't bad, but you might encounter problems when viewing less optimized pages. Anyway, I'd say Firefox gets 10/10, IE 7 gets 8/10, Opera gets 6.5/10 and IE 6 gets 3/10.
I use IE7 for my everyday usage while also using Opera and Firefox when i develop in order to make sure my sites are compatible on all browsers and platforms. When i actually am on one of my linux machines i also check Knoppix and the same goes when I am go on a Mac. The reason i use IE is that it does display all pages on the web the best and as much as people say it has security flaws, all browsers do and some just are targeted more. Just wait for IE8 in the next six months and you will be blown away by it
Back in the day i used netscape navigator now I use the newest version of ie I have tried mozilla and dont care for it. I have never tried the opera, but would be willing to give it a try, I saw some comments though that make me think that its not free if it is I would be willing to give it a try, so if anyone knows if its free of if you have to pay please let us know. Thanks!

I came across this browser by a fluke chance when I was checking out articles at PC World, and from
what I remember from the article this is a very big name browser in Japan and they wanted to expand
it to the international market. What really caught my eye is that they want to get 5% of the
international market in the browser wars in the next couple of years. To give a background story to
this browser, it was developed in 2005 in both English and Japanese and after 3 years it gain some
popularity in the international community and so now they are trying to enter thems....

Out of a fluke I found this software on a tutorial website, and basically your designing for IE by
opening several different versions of IE is over. There was a IE software that haslip mention,
however, I didn't like the fact it would cuase the browsers to crash. So I found bump into this
by accident, and the rest is history, interestingly enough if oyu have Office 2007 installed, you
have the option to chance skins based on what Office 2007 has. As for what versions this program
supprts is Internet Explorer 5.5, 6, 7, and even 8b1. It aslo has an update button so....
some websites are asking you to download their toolbar from a useful one like google toolbar to
harmful one like websearch toolbar and some provide service only if their toolbar is installed
(example: mega upload). QUOTE whats browser toolbar? Third-party toolbars for browsers are
best known for adding functionality and ease-of-use options to the end user. While the browser
itself handles basic browsing navigation (Back, Stop, Reload, etc) using its own toolbars, external
toolbars often add additional functionality to browsers (additional search fields, form-fil....
No seriously, I've been using Firefox since 0.x releases. I loved it. Every release, despite
having no huge features, was a great update. Version 3, however, totally messes everything up. Its
default interface is ugly. And no Home button, really ??? (ps. I kno i can drag it back from the
bookmarks toolbar but still, its stupid). The address bar search thing. I liked the concept, but I
am so used to the old way, this actually distracts me, I don't want to search my history
everytime I type a new address. Plus the slide out is huge now making the whole thing feel t....
Now that 2007 is almost over with news of Netscape's demise in just two months, and the major
players in the browser wars are set in stong; Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Firefox 1.x.x
& 2.x.x and Beta 2 version of Firefox 3, Opera 9.x, and Safari 3.x. Lets just see where the % point
are for the major players. Growth Chart So as you can tell both browsers IE7 and FF2 started
roughly the same, 24% for IE7 and 25% for Firefox 2, but interestingly enough they ended the year
roughly the same but with firefox winning by 1% at 37% while IE takes a nice 36....
Hi guys, Can anyone tell me what is the main deference between IE and Mozilla Firefox ? I have been
using IE (version 6.0) for one year but from now on I have decided to use Firefox. I just want to
know as to what Mozilla can do which Internet Explorer can not. Thanks! ....
Hi Guys, I'm trying to test a site for a client who doesn't have broadband. She has told me
that it's taking too long to download. I'm currently on broadband 2 so for me the page
loads in under a couple of seconds. Is there a way I can emulate 56k speeds on my browser so that I
can see how long would take to download. Cheers.....
test your browser for security holes: http://bcheck.scanit.be/bcheck/ This checks for the most
commonly occurring security vulnerabilities in the major browsers. In total there are some 40 tests
and may take a long time to finish. I have run this test on 4 browsers: 1)IE 7 : 0 vulnerabilities
(but the browser goes crazy, opening several windows and applications) 2)IE 6 : 1 medium risk (the
browser goes crazy like IE7) 3)Firefox 2.0.0.3: 1 medium risk (i think some plugin might have caused
this as some others have had different results) 4)Opera 9.2: 0 vulnerabilities ....
Currently on version 0.2 with 0.3 in development Swift is on the cutting edge of web browsing
technology. Swift utilizes apple's webkit to bring you KHTML which is widely considered the best
rendering technology. Not to mention Swift is free to use. Swift is a very lightweight browser and
soon plans to implement it's own adblocker. Get swift here. Disclaimer: Swift is still in
development stages. If you are looking for a fully functional watered down web browser get firefox
or opera.....
Maybe you have already heard about the Opera browser and maybe some are already using it now. But
for some that don't have any idea on what it's about, well let me do the honors... Opera is
a browser. You can download it on Opera.com anyways, what i like about this browser is that you can
easilly download nice looking opera skins for free. Aside from that, it has BitTorrent---You
don't need a separate BitTorrent application to download large files. Simply click a torrent
link and start the download.-- it means that if you're downloading, you won'....
There are battles between different browsers for a long time now and it all began when netscape and
microsoft started the war;) First is now almost forgotten and the second one survived and is today
fighting mostly with Mozilla, Firefox and Opera. Each of those has many fans which will say that
his browser is the best! But WHICH IS REALLY THE BEST??? On the page HowToCreate they tried
to answer that question as they were comparing the most popular browsers for Linux (Firefox,
Mozilla, Konqeror, Opera, Epiphany), Mac OS X (Safari, Opera, OmniWeb, IE, iCab, Fir....
Hey guys, Lemme know what you think abou the Mozilla Firefox browser. I personally think it out
runs Microsoft Internet Explorer mainly cos of the convenience of having all the windows in one main
window, plus enhanced security features. What do you think? Cheers! Yasir /smile.gif'
