| | IE sucks full stop. its so vulnerable to all viruses and worms etc, and there is a big anti-trust issue there...(IE makes "really hidden" files...it ate up about 6GB of our hard drive before i made the change to FF)
Mozilla is pretty good, Mozilla Firefox is better.
Opera is also good, but i dont really like it, i dont know why. One handy/disastrous feature is that if you close it with multiple tabs open, when you next open Opera it will re-open all the tabs you had open. But that could very bad if u were looking at bad stuff like porn, how to make bombs, etc. lol. Firefox > All
also, if you use Firefox visit one of these: http://www.runescapecommunity.com/index.php?showtopic=620540 http://www.trap17.com/forums/index.php?sho...mp;#entry177156 |

IE. Now, I know it's unsafe...But FireFox and Opera were waaaaay to cramped for me...I know they're not THAT cramped, but IE just has (Well, I have) two toolbars...That's it. No sidebars, just the small bottom bar...No other random stuff.

I voted for Internet Explorer. I think it is the best Web browser especially the Version 7 was released (Just Beta but it is still very good). You can view a lot of different pages at the same time by using tabs, just like Dagoth Nereviar about toolbars . The only one thing I have to worry about is those stupid Spyware and viruses since I haven't installed any of them

Well, i dont know how longer this topic could drag itself .. Maybe some of you out there are just sentimentally attached to Internet Explorer... Seriously, you are missing something ,if you are missing firefox.. It is fast ,safe, and what not ?? It has also been ranked number 1 product by PC world, where Gmail ranks second... For all of you who just dont seem to accept firefox yet.,, try downlading firefox btea 2... It is hot and awesome... If you can term anything as your dream browser ,then firefox 2 should be it... Well, i am not praising firefox 2 this much for no reason... There seems to be a lot of changes in this version.. Here are some of them which i noticed 1) Search suggestions- Firefox shows up a list of similar words when u type a word in your search toolbar... Say ,if you type 'f' it shows firefox, friends, fun, fact ,...etc., 2) Super cool style - The new version has a style theme which is worth an experience 3) Phishing protection - I have not seen it work , but read that it has inbuilt phishing protection and warns you when you visit potential phishing sites 4) For those who like opera as it can continue from the last time yopu closed the browser, firefox2 has the same feature in it... 5) You can open a tab which you have accidentally closed 6) Spell check - Whenever you make a spelling mistake while typing somehing in your forms ,it shows you the mispelled words.. For those of you who have decided to go for firefox2 , you can get it here http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/all-beta.html I suggest all Internet explorer and opera users to give firefox beta 2 a try, and then give your verdict !!!!

I have never noticed any difference in download speed. I have also downloaded the "Download it all" plug in which is a big improvement on the default download manager. I have noticed a decrease in the time it takes pages to load with FireFox, which in my opinion is the most important thing. I use FireFox all the time, I am considering giving opera a try as it is said to be faster, and even more secure, but all the extensions have been keeping me with FireFox. On what other browser can you play Pong on

i have been using firefox about 2 years now. and i think it's great. it has features like tabbed browsing, search toolbar, rss reader, nice word finder. and you can install many extension and themes, and you can create it too since it's an open-souce. and you can use png images and it will appear as transparent, internet explorer plan to release this feature in next version. you can also delete you private date easily with one click in firefox. only problem is that some webpages still don't support firefox. internet explorer 7 is releasing soon, i have tried the beta and it also has similar features like tab browser, rss reader, search toolbar. but we will see how is really is when the final version comes out. so, currently my favorite is firefox.

Firefox 3 Sucks - Time For Another Browser
