Posted this inquiry over a week ago & got no replys so I'm re-posting via new thread.
How do I setup a automatic download to a webpage visitor to my website?
If I "host" (ie. store the file[ a "zip" etc. file]) on my website how do I make it so that the visitor can click on a button & get the file to automatically download to their computer.??? This may seem obvious to youall but I'm very new and have no idea.
All Info appreciated!!!

does anyone know how to import a flash into a webpage with transparenc (1) Hi I need some help , Im designing this website for school studies However, I made a flash drop down
menu, works perfectly, but you know how flash has a background when you export it in to a SWF file?
For example my flash is width= 800, and height = 200 but my div box on my html page for my
navigation is only 50 px my buttons is width of 50px and the rest of the content is the drop down
animations i want to insert it into my navigation div box but i want to set the flash background to
transparent so that when the drop down menu comes down it overlaps the text or whateva....
Mysql
Several files in one field. (2) Hi guys. I want t know if it is posible to have so many entries for one object in a field in MySQL.
I know my question may not be clear because I lack in terminology but pliz try and help. What I want
to do is for axample have a database of my clients with the following fields for every client:
fname, lname, more than one photos, contrubutions(comments, jokes, testimonials posted) etc. I want
to have the things like the photos in the same field but they have to be unique so that my php code
can deal with them individually llike they are coming from different fields.....
How Many Times Was The File Taken?
Counting downloads (5) I was wondering if someone could help me with the following: On my website there is a small file
which can be downloaded. I would like to be able to monitor how many times it has been downloaded,
the result does not need to appear on the site, it is just for me personally. Has anyone got some

Php Download Timeout
(2) Hi there, well yet again I'm stuck! I think the title says it all really. I'm selling
e-books, and I'm having a problem with people downloading it more than once. So my question is,
could I "hide" it behind a php script, that will not give away where the document REALLY is, it will
just give the browser one destination to download it from, and it will "mirror" its actual location?

Treating .csv Files As Database Data
Showing .CSV data on a web page (2) I use a nice program (which I helped to beta test) called ' Simfatic Forms ' to generate
forms on web pages. The only problem is that it does not (yet) support MySQL databases, it saves the
form data as a .CSV file. Now I was wondering if you can do the same with a .CSV file as you do
with a MySQL databse, ie. displaying the data in that file on a web page which adjusts automatically

Recommend A Download Gallery...
(0) Ay, I am working on new site that will be based around a download gallery (Don't worry, not
hosting on T17), and I'm looking for a download gallery script that I can use. Preferably PHP.
I've used paFileDB from phparena.net which is incredibly good - and I loved all the features
except for the fact that I had to add files one by one. With a couple thousand files - and files

(3) To save the disk usages of our host, we can upload files somewhere else like fileXoom or

(2) Hi, Im creating a website that sells carpets and basically ive created webpages with the picture and
checkboxes underneath the pictures so users can select which carpet they want! Once they submit
the form, we get the order including form details! The problem is that once the user checks the
checkboxes, i want to be able to delete that image from that webpage or move that picture to another
location in the folders i have stored on the server. The reason is becuase evry carpet is unique so
