hi guys!i want to advice prog for convertingits VisiFly... very simple prog,works with all common formats,has demo without timelimit!!!i think its cool!
I've been looking for video to flash converters for my project. This project is about creating a movie booking website. So the flash output that appears on the webpage shows the trailers of the movies.
I'd like freeware of any versions of good working video to flash converters. Does anyone knows of any to recommend?
I know you can actually just import a video file into Macromedia Flash ..but the problem is it is not freeware , but if its only gona be short term design...you could download the free trial of it just for the sake of importing it there and then exporting as flash....

Now i'm using a program wich is not free, but to tell you the true, i did not payed for it.

What i ment to say is that the best programs for that purpose aren't free, those 2 free programs above don't make a very good job, you will see the final conversion doesn't have too much quality.

Thanks but sadly, it's not a free product. It's just a demo that still shows its logo at the corner of all its output swf files as a link back to TurbineVideo website in its free version. It stated itself as the free version but actually it resembles a demo only.
Thanks but I don't need FLV versions. I require SWF output format instead. Anyway I've tried that program but it somehow failed most of the time without stating any reason when I attempted to convert the videos to FLV, thinking I would then convert into SWF again. It didn't helped in any way.

Yes I've to agree with you totally. At first I thought serverph and delivi some really free stuffs, but later found out to be actually demos only, convinced me that there's no free alternatives to video-swf conversion. So what program are you using right now? Probably I'd have to purchase the same one as what you are currently using if it's a good product. Probably you would like to post a link so I can get more information about that product. Thanks..
In the free and open source CamStudio package (http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/), you can find an AVI to SWF converter. You might also be interested in the screen capture portion of it (actually the main part of the package), just read the help file a little bit before using either.
QuickTime Pro: $30 and will convert just about anything. Can be ran on either PC or Mac. If your going to be doing any type of video conversion an any regular basis, it is well worth the small price tag and probably my most used tool.
FLASH MX can do that , for you ... if u have the codecs installed , just import the Vdo into the flash file and thats it .. after that .. just export the movie and you are on

This is one that attracts me. No installations need. Just upload your video files and download the flash files. Simply and easy. I'm gonna look into it. Thanks alot for this findout.

If you haven't visited http://hulu.com you are missing out on a great site. Hulu is a youtube
like website that shares tv shows and movies. It is a free website and it is not illegal. Hulu has
advertisements in the videos from the networks (like bravo, comedy central). Dont go and watch
videos online that is a illegal website but use hulu instead. They are getting more stations and or
networks (like bravo) so they will have more tv shows and or movies for free. Go and check it out

I have this for a while now, i've test it, and played a lot of flash games, at least i tryed
almost 150 flash games, only the coolest ones. But now i want to share with all of you this
incredible resource, it's an application that you must install (it has no virus, spyware or
adware, don't worry, this comes from a credible website with a lot more great freebies), and
then open the application from your desktop (the program creates an icon with a blue star on your

I searched to see if anybody mentioned Powerbullet, but didn't see it. Powerbullet Presenter
can make basic flash animations with pictures, test and shapes, but it is no where near as powerful
as Macromedia Flash. They do have a support forum, and I have gotten alot of help there. I have
also tried other free flash software: LiveSwif (button maker), and Advanced Effect Maker, neither of
which are as easy to use a Powerbullet. LiveSwif is nolonger in business, so there is no support
whatsoever. I believe all of these are still available on downloads.com ....
