| | I uploaded a new style for my PhpBB forum through FTP. Then I installed the style in the PhpBB Admin. Panel. But in the Style Management section I am not able to change the style. I can see both the syles listed there, but I cannot change the styles. Please help me. |

if you would like help with your forums, you can visit http://forumize.org it is a Forum BB that can and will help people with their forum needs, it is made by someone here on this site, and it was approved by OpaQue to be trap17's offical BB Support...

Delivi: The Styles Management section in the phpBB admin section is not meant for switching styles on your forum. You will find an entry called "Default Style" in the General Configuration, and that is where you should be able to set it. If you want your forum users to have the option of switching between styles from their profile, then don't check the override user default button, else check it  That's about all there is to it. Hope this helps, and ping if anything doesn't work. By the way, phpBB provides free support for their software, and their official community a good place to ask as well. Cheers!

Unable To Replace .png File In Directory
Can't even delete it using Cpanel (7) I can't delete a little file using file manager in Cpanel. I'm trying to delete a .png

I Cant Log In To Cpanel
I get "Unable to connect" page (6) I am trying to get ot my cpannel but it won't let me connect. I am using Firefox, I cleaned out

Unable To Change Domain
(3) I was using a trap17 sub domain but have bought a .co.in domain. And parked it here in cpanel. And
am able to use that domain too. But the sub-domain of trap17 is still there. I want to replace that
with my .co.in domain. For that I was using change subdomain/domain option from

My Ftp Issue. Forum Nonviewable.
(7) My situation: I started the cpanel process and clicked on fantastico to begin downloading phpBB2
automatically on it. It had told me it couldn't continue the process because there were items
that needed to be deleted, so I deleted everything, the mail regenerated itself fortunately, when I
reinstalled the phpBB2 discussion board via fantastico I looked at the ftp folder and then tried to
access the site via IE web browser. I got a 404 page. "Not Found The requested URL / was not found

Installing Theme On Smf Forum
Need help doing it! (4) I was wondering, and I am horrible with Cpanels mind you, how to install a new theme. I have an smf
discussion board and I decided to download a theme from the theme place for smf. So it downloads,
and appears in winrar. When I extract it, it comes with a big pile of files, with 2 folders:

Inability to access my website from certain network (6) I have a problem... My site works ok, and there is no problem with that, BUT... I am unable to
access my site, my cPanel, and even gamma.xisto.com, from my workplace... I have conntacted my

Help: Mod Install On Forum
(3) Ok I feel really really stupid (Which I am when it comes to this) but anyway on the SMF forum, there
is a package manager, you click install, and it installs the mods on the forum. However, sometimes
it gives you a link, to download the mod. So yeah I download it, and it appears on my desktop as a
bunch of icons that only make a million tabs appear when opened. I was wondering where in the world
am I supposed to put these mods so that they will work? I have tried some things but they did
nothing... Please help! Why Don't I ever get any replies! ....

Can't Install Phpbb!
Help! (21) I am getting very frustrated as I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install phpbb
completely. I've uploaded all the files using FTPSmart. I think clicked on the install.php
fine, and was taken to the screen where I fill everything out. It says I successfully did all that:

(11) oke wel, i got my zip file uploadet on the file manager ( ty jlhaslip),now i have to instal it,so i

Is it allowed? (3) Everybody knows of sites that can give you free forums like ipbfree, mnvisionfree, forumer, and many
others. My question is this, I read some where a while back that you were not allowed to have those
types of services on your board, meaning it was forbidden to have other people get boards and host
them on your site. I wanted to uploadf a scirpt that allowes you to have a service similar toi

Connection Problems (2) Hey, i just uploaded and installed Smf on my website. Everything is working fine with the forums
themselves, but every now and then i get 1 or 2 messages. Here they are. " Database Error: Lost

Help Installing Phpbb On My Site [resolved]
(6) Ok, i am hosted here and i am trying to get the phpBB2 forums installed on my site. I have made a
database, i have uploaded all of the folders to the FTP. Now everytime i try to start the install,
it either says that there is a critical error, and that i have configured something wrong. Does

Need help (8) Hey, I'm currently running Joomla and PhPBB (through a bridge I found online) I'm really not
satisfied with it though...The login/registration process is very buggy (not technically bugged
since its supposed to work that way) but is very unreliable. I was wondering if anybody could
reccomend a good Forum/Portal or CMS combo I can use to post news/picture files/etc on a main
