hi, There is another thread about this link on trap17 for free Ubuntu Linux Cds. That is where I got to know about it. I had ordered on their site and had received the Cds absolutely free of cost delivered. Another feature is that they ship anywhere in the world and you can order as many copies as you like............. The distribution has two CDs one installation image and another live CD which does not need to be installed. You can set you computer to boot from cd, put in the cd and start the computer. The system boots into linux using the cd so no headache of making necessary partitions and installing linux. I suppose that is one reason many users stay away from linux... Cheers.

I asked for Free Ubuntu CDs. as much as possible they want us to order many Free CDs to maximize their shipping cost. you can distibute it to your friends. the default number/amount is ten. i ordered ten. The shipping will take about four to six weeks, but i guess it would be worth the wait. thanks for the link

I have recied my CDs last week. Iam also a Windows user but the accompanied softwares/programs can be used for Windows operating system. I like the Opensource.Org office programs, they work just like Microsoft Office. It also has Mozilla Firefox installer as well as Thunderbird. The GIMP photo editor is so nice! I will also use it next to my Adobe Photoshop CS. And if you want to try the Linux Ubuntu without modyfying your operating System, you can use the Live CD where you can test the Ububtu system but slower than the installed version. It won't alter or affect your current system.

However, OpenSuSE works horribly on Mac. Is it completely Mac's proprietary fault, or is it
just that most Linux users in their right minds would never pay for a Mac when they could build a
Linux-friendly machine for pennies in comparison? I use a Mac for many reasons. First of all, I
love it. Secondly, I have a website that I like to check with a variety of environments. ....

What Made You Switch To Linux?
