Here is your chance to earn some free hosting credits from yours truly. I am holding a contest to see how well you know about TRAP17 and our forum layouts. This contest isn’t limited to what is said here. The contest can change from time to time and at any moment. Here are the rules: - This contest is open to general hosting members only. Administrators and moderators are not eligible.
- All responses are final and subject to review.
- When the contest is over, it’s over.
- The response will be submitted in the form of posting. Simply, you are going to post your answer.
- Each contest will have its own rules, if any, and requires to be prompt, i.e. first 3 responses.
- This rule may be changed through out the contest, but will not change during a contest that’s running. I will add more as I see it fit.
- The contest is valid until administrators or moderators see that it’s not helping TRAP17.
- The contest will be drawn up before hand and left invisible until the day of said starting date.

I Really Do Not Understand
How do they calculate your credits? (6) A minute ago, I noticed my site nor my email wer working. So, I decided to come here and check my
amount of credit, as I knew I was getting low. But who can understand my astonishment when I noticed
that I was in a negative state of credit, at -4.15? What happens on this site then? Do they just
eat your credit as they see fit or what? As I said before, I knew I was getting low, and that is why
I came and checked, but yesterday I still had credit worth 1.65 points, today I find myself at
-4.15. So, you can imagine that has really left me wondering how i could have eaten....
Editing Posts Alters Credits?
Does being retrospecitvely pedantic pay? (16) I am wondering about the Credit System calculations on the Trap17 forums. If I were to make a post
and submit it, then the calculation system does its magic and attributes a certain number of Credits
for that post, right? So, what happens if I later revisit the post and edit it? For argument's
sake, if I get am a bit sloppy in my speeling and don't rite proper Inglish, then your algorithm
will give me less Credits than if I had been more accurate with my spelling and grammar. However, if

Slightly Concerned About Web Hosting Applications
email addresses shouldnt be shown (7) Ive been thinking about this for a while, every since i did a search for my email address in google
(you should really try it, youd be surprised where your address turns up sometimes) I was lucky and
the only reference to it was here at T17 in my hosting app. But this concerned me... Many of the
folk here at trap are very intelligent and cautious people and dont like their email address being
splattered across the internet but that is what is happening because of the application threads. I
would like to ask if they can be made mod/admin only or if Jlhsalips email hidi....
