Imagine if you will, you have an iPod. That wasn’t too hard now was it? Now imagine if your friend has one too and has some music you really want. The problem is you’ll have to take your iPod to their PC connect it and transfer files onto your iPod. What potentially could go wrong is if you end up syncing it to that PC by mistake, you’ll lose all your data. Now imagine you’re hiking though the hills and are nowhere next to a PC, particularly your friends PC.
A company called miShare has developed a tool for just such quandaries. It's small enough to fit in your pocket and is equipped with two Apple iPod ports at either end. The iPods simply need to be hooked up to the said ports and files can be transferred between the two devices. In order to begin the transfer process the center buttons need to be pressed. The miShare runs on a Linux platform and it offers a choice between images, movies or music to be transferred.
It has its own power source through an internal battery that can be charged with an AC adapter. The price nor release date has not been disclosed yet, however it is expected to be out sometime in December.
Great product. I can imagine a lot of coding has gone into this device.
I would definately buy this device if I had 3-4 Ipods in my family or friend circle. But alas, IPods are still scarse in India. (Neither do I have one). But later on when you finally sinc it with yuor PC/Mac, wouldn't it take off the new files from the ipod??
Qoodaa Communications , which has been devoted to developing internet transfers services, innovates
and develops a new P2P technology, called MNP2P for short. It creates a new epoch of internet
transfers acceleration for large files. It is well known that the main downloading accelerative ways
are P2P and CDN. However, the traditional P2P needs multi-users download at the same time to
guarantee its downloading speed. BT is the most classic example of P2P. But CDN can ensure
downloading quality under the circumstance that there are a few downloading users and there is e....
Hi there guys, I just bought a brand new Dell Inspiron laptop for $729.99. It has a
processing speed of 2.0ghz, 3GB RAM, and a 250gb hard drive. I'm really satisfied, especially
with the wireless internet and the fact that I can carry my computer around with me, allowing you to
use your computer in comfortable spots -- outside in the shade, on the train, or even in your bed
where I'm using it write now as I type. If you didn't already guess, this is my first
laptop. But I do have some issues. Does anyone happen to know an easy way to transfer some ....
Knowing Qoodaa was quite by chance. A few days ago, my friends studying in America recommended me a
new popular transfer tool—Qoodaa. And he told me that it was a quite good software to download
files and movies. At first,I was skeptical, but after using it, I found it’s a good choice to
choose Qoodaa. And I have summarized the some features of Qoodaa: 1.Its speed is faster than any
other softwares I used before to upload movies. 2.It can download files quickly through downloading
links, in a word, it is time-saver and with high efficiency. 3.No limit of spac....
Many people have been disappointed with the Zune- Microsoft's attempt at developing an iPod
killer media playing machine. I don't know too much about media players, but you would think
that if it has wifi capabilities, it should be able to go online. Well, the MS Zune lets you preview
other people's music, which you would then have to buy. I guess that the idea has some merit,
but come on? I digress. Does anyone think that the Zune will outsell the ipod this holiday season?
Some people seem to think so. With a price tag of $100 in some popular electroni....
iPod Touch QUOTE The iPod touch is an iPod portable media player designed and
marketed by Apple Inc. The device, which features a multi-touch interface, was unveiled to the
general public on September 5, 2007 as part of an event dubbed "The Beat Goes On", - an event which
featured the introduction of Cover Flow to the iPod line. The iPod touch uses 8 or 16 GB of flash
memory, costing US$299 and US$399 respectively. It also has Wi-Fi and includes Safari,
Apple's web browser. The iPod touch is the first generation of the iPod line to inc....
Yeah the iPod is way overrated in my opinion. You might consider other players which may or may not
better suit your needs as a consumer. There are some gangsta media players out there, this one in
my opinion is way better than the iPod video /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P"

This morning jlhaslip requested me to share my cinnamon roll with him. I am in Washington, USA and
he is somewhere else. How can I get this roll to him? I have often wanted to share with those I am
online with but havent figured out a way to transfer it over the phone lines (I had dial-up at the
time I started thinking about it). It got me looking for examples of where this transference has
been used. Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Star Trek Cartoons
What other examples can you think of? Have you got any ideas yourself? What use....

Microsoft to launch Zune! QUOTE After trying for years to compete with the iPod through an
array of partners, Microsoft confirmed Friday that it plans to directly go after Apple Computer with
its own rival, Zune. Confirming weeks of rumors, Microsoft said it will launch music software and
players under the Zune brand, though the software maker left plenty unsaid in its confirmation.
"Today we confirmed a new music and entertainment project called Zune," Chris Stephenson, a general
manager of marketing for the software maker, said in a statement. "Under the Zu....
well, here is the picture and a short article I found: here, here! it is said to have wi-fi
capabilities, so that you can download music without having a computer... you can download it right
from the device! it is set to launch sometime before christmas of this year. it is called the
'iPod killer', but, you never know, they may fail... i suppose you can use that term to any
mp3 player/company trying to be as successful as apple. the new iPod nano will also be debuting
sometime before christmas, sometime in the fourth quarter it is believed. This ....
Well first and foremost, I'll say this: I'm an iPod man. I love iPods, I have two of them in
fact, and I've done a lot of things with them like hacking them to play doom, and some other
cool stuff. 30GB is quite a bit for an mp3 player, let alone the 60GB version. So there's also
room for not only your music, photos, and videos, but your other files, because you can use it as
sort of like a flash drive. So in short, I can't get enough of my iPods. But recently I heard of
Microsoft coming out with their Mp3 player. Even though not many details have bee....
Has anyone else purchased this what could be perfect music player? I know somebody who purchased one
the day they came out and a few weeks later the screen was bad so he couldn't see what he was
doing. He still could use it but couldn't see what it was saying on the screen. The person did
take very very good care of it and rarely took it out of its protective case. So has anyone else
purchased one of these? If so have you had good luck with them or do the screens go bad for you?....

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I didn't see anywhere else for it... Ok, my girlfriend
got a 4 GB iPod Nano about a month ago. She had about 100 songs on it and one day they just
disappeared. Her normal PC won't recognize that she has the iPod plugged in, and her
stepdad's laptop will recognize it... But after she transfers all the songs, and she unplugs the
iPod from the laptop, she loses all of her songs again... She talked to an apple guy, but they said
she needed to do a system restore on it, but they didn't tell her how... And she can't ....
The neew ipod. I think that the ipod is a good invention but what is the point in making it so that
you can watch vidio's. Someones bound to get run over watching a vidio because they wont be
looking where there going so they will walk on to the road and get run over. Im perrfectly happy
with my mp3 even though the other day i cracked the screen on it so i cant really see anything but
its still working. But you know the little clicker thing on them that allows you to change the songs

QUOTE t's official. At an event in San Jose Wednesday, Apple ended months of speculation by
introducing the first video-enabled iPod, moving the company into the portable media center space.
"Yes, it does video," Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in his keynote address as the audience erupted in
applause. The new iPod sports a 2.5-inch TFT display in a design similar to the iPod Nano. The
320x240 pixel display supports only 260,000 colors, but the iPod does include a video-out jack for
hooking up to a TV. Real-time decoding of MPEG-4 and H.264 video content is supporte....
hi friends, Apple has released a new version of Ipod. Actually it replaces the Ipod mini in the
ipod series. It is called the Ipod Nano. It is actually a slim ipod, 1.6 x 3.5 x .27 in size and
weighs 1.5 ounces approx 43 grams. It includes a color display and capability to view images and
slideshows... The battery life has also been extended. Chek out the detailed comparison chart at
the apple website... Cheers. ....
This morning I was going to listen to some music, so I got my iPod, turned it on, and it reset (I
hadn't had it plugged in for a while). When I got to the music, it would go through half of a
song, then skip to the next. After doing this a couple times, it would just skip entire songs.
It'd skip six or seven, then do half of one, then skip six or seven more. Later I looked on the
internet for some ideas, so eventually I tried resetting it again, as instructed. This worked for a
little bit, but then it started skipping over songs again. I reset again, and it lost....
I have just got a new Ipod mini and they really do rock.........holding over 1000 mp3's at one
time, you can search and listen to all you favorite albums on the move with ease. The mini ipod is
small and easy to use (must have a pc) i got mine for £129.99 from argos which i thought wasnt a bad
price for a mp3 player of that storage, the stoarge is 4gb, enought to fit all you albums on it. Why
