I discovered a great website for photographers : Panoramio anyone can take pictures of his street
or city and put in the website for sharing and commenting but the nice think here is that you can
map your photo to Google Earth and will be viewed in the Google Earth software too...

In response to Google Earth, Microsoft has launched a new map site with stunning satellite images
that beat Google's images. (for now) I couldn't believe how detailed it was when I looked up
my house. It takes a bit of getting used to since the images are from an angle. However, the close
up is way better than Google's map. http://local.live.com Click "Bird's Eye View" after
going to a certain location....
