Suprnova Gone?

As alot of you will know, Suprnova.ORG was one of the largest Bittorrent sites out ther, sadly it is no more, or so most people think...

The creator of Suprnova has teamed up with another (so far unknown) company to create a new Peeo-to-peer file charing program which will use the BitTorrent protocol.

The new program is going to be calles Exeem, It will be similar to Supnove exept all torrents will be on a main network and not spread accross the internet... Its is said to be the best file sharer so far!

There is no set release date as of yet, but the owner of Suprnova says it should be out withing the newt month or so, keep checking http://www.exeem.com to see when it is up and running...

I think that it is going to be a big success, as 1000's of people uses to use Suprnova every day... also, the ovner says that he does not yet jnow thw fate of Suprnova...

Thats all the info I have so far, Ill post updates as I find em out...

I could've sworn I heard that the people who ran/created suprnova got arrested. If that's so, how did they manage to do this? Or were some people not caught? o_O Or did they get..unarrested? Or is this whole arresting thing just a big fake rumor?
I never download bitTorrents anyways cause they're so slow.

But I guess this new program deserves a YAY!

This sounds cool. I wonder how many people were crying after the learned suprnova.org was shutting down? It was kinda sad that suprnova was shutting down. But exeem is probably going to be wonderful like bittorrent. BTW cragllo did you know bittorrent's speed depends on how many people are trying to download the same thing?

Whooo, i cant wait for suprnova.org to come back or start something new. I love their services

... i shed a tear when one day i went to the site to only see a message stating that they will be shut down and no longer serving torrents, FOR EVER!!

. But we will wait, also www.exeem.com dont work yet

You know that I also tried to enter sprnova and I could not, ademas I turn out yourself dificil to lower torrents of all the paginas that between. Podrias to say some alternative direction to me to lower torrents.

eXeem.com does not work yet, I know, by 'keep checking the site for updates' i ment to keep checking it to see when it comes online and public.

I'd keep away from eXeem.

It is a windows only, closed source, adware (possibly also spyware) app. It's also locked so you will only be able to use it with SuprNova, not any other torrent sites. A short summary of Bad Things about eXeem. There is also someone paying Sloneck (the guy who ran Suprnova, and now is developing eXeem), but he won't say who.

I don't trust it.

I'll stick with normal bittorrent. There are enough other torrent sites still up, like Bi-torrent and a big list of sites called Orb's Torrent Site Status.

Well for me I dont really trust any P2P programs and I only use them if I despritlly need something.I am like that becase last time I used a P2P program I got a virus and I dident know how to take care of it so I ignored it then I kept getting more and more and before I knew it I had to get a new hardrive.So my advice to you is stay AWAY from P2P programs they are nothing but trublle.

if you are careful, then P2P software is no trouble. Limewire is a great idea! Yes, Suprnova.org is gone!

Yeah.......I am very sad too. Suprnova was a great site. It always had about 75% of what I was looking for. I am still missing it. But I guess for the internet and commercial IT world to move on, the shutting down of Suprnova was necessary.

Thanks to the people behind Suprnova. You sacrificed yourselves for the rest of the world. Very noble indeed.

I was suprised when I found out that suprnova was gone as well. does anyone know if its coming back? thats the only site i was using for bit torrent in the past so this comes as bad news to me.

Well, it looks like eXeem really is spy/adware, I haven't tried it myself but I've read of enough people complaining about cydoor being included. And I guess someone was dissapointed enough to make eXeem lite, which is eXeem, but without the spyware.

If you want to use eXeem, use the lite version. It's like with Kazaa: Normal version: Bad, lite version: Good.

eXeem is going to be released THIS week (from 17th to 24th January)

Thats what is said anyway! I hope this is not going to be just another P2P program...
I hope that it will be unique and different in a good way, lol.

I used to make a lot of downloads using bittorrent but I could never use another torrent website... suprnova was just awesome... there was torrentbits too but it ended... Ive never used torrentbits because suprnova was much better than the others... Im not so sad because I had already stopped using bittorrent... I had started using brturbo links and now Im using P2M ;D... well... suprnova forever in my heart!
