or www.blockwars.trap17.com/abc.html
also i created a page 'cheese' (i just did it for testign  ) in public html. But when i enter www.blockwars.trap17.com/cheese. I get HTTP404 Not found thingie

Well for a subdomain to work here you need to first create a folder, this could be the folder "abc" now to make it a true subdomain you need to go into the subdomain manager in cpanel and just add a subdomain like "abc.site.trap17.com" and make it redirect to the folder "site.trap17.com/abc" does that make sense? or www.blockwars.trap17.com/abc.html www.blockwars.trap17.com/abc is not a subdomain of blockwars.trap17.com, it is just a folder, the term subdomain means sort of like a website that is part of another website, like youre username "blockwars" is a subdomain of "trap17.com" Now if you wanted a folder in your website like blockwars.trap17.com/abc then you just create the folder in your FTP program of the cpanel file manager and then to get to it you just type the url i just said but with the folder name after the slash. You dont need to add ".html" or anything else to the end of a folder. As for the cheese question what file type is the page? for example, if its a ".HTML" page then you would need to enter www.blockwars.trap17.com/cheese.html because if you just entered www.blockwars.trap17.com/cheese it will look for a folder and it wont be able to find it. I hope this makes sense i was a little confused as to what you were asking!

shadowx is correct in order to set up a sub domain, you just type in the name you want and then click add. When you do this a folder will be created for that sub domain for you to set up your files in. What your asking, which I agree with shadowx is just make a folder either through FTP or the file manager and your set. If I remember my terminology correctly this is just a sub directory and not a sub-sub domain.

looked and cannot seem to find it in the usual topics. I would like to find a bit more about
domains, and especially addon ones. I see from my cpanel that you can have 9 parked domains and 9
addon domains. At the moment I am using 1 parked domain, which I use as an address for my website
and email. I did it like that since that was the way I was advised to set up my domain. But, if that

Broken Link!
(4) Just so you guys know, there is a broken link at the top of alot of your pages for computing web
hosting. It goes to a site that doesn't exist. And the graphic for Imagefilez.com is also

Joomla 1.5.2 Broken Link?
Add New User won't work (3) So I wiped the whole slate clean and noticed they've got 1.5.2 now, so I installed it. When I
went to add another admin under the user manager menu, it did nothing when I clicked on "NEW" in the
upper right. This link is broken or something else is wrong here. I need to be able to add other

Sub Domain Problem : Urgent
Cannot access my sub domains (10) Hi, I am having some serious problems with my sub domains. I registered a site with trap17 named
http://zoebelkin.co.cc . Then I made 2 sub domains for the site. One is for the forums section
and the other is for the gallery section. 1> forums.zoebelkin.co.cc 2> gallery.zoebelkin.co.cc
Whenever I type these in the browser adress bar the browser gives an output that it cannot find the
web sites. But they are complete and should show something. Also using www. in front of the sub
domains didn't help. Is www. needed in front of the sub domains. Could you just....
Need Help In Addon Domains
(4) i need some help in addon domains My domain registor uses A record hence in the DNS setting i have
to put the ip address of my trap17 hosting account. The main domain works out perfectly after
changing the DNS to trap17 ip in my domain registor. Now the problem is when i tried adding a
another domain from the same registor to my Addon domains. I changed the DNS setting as like before
in my domain registor, same ip of trap17 hosting account, waiting it the Dns setting updateds as it

Server Status Link Doesn't Work
(1) Hey, I tried going to the xisto menu on the top right of the forums and the server/network status

bottom and then make the border 0. The annoying thing is, lets say I type in in the link box for

servers. Does this mean you do not allow addon domains on trap17? Or does it mean I have to do

Help (3) How do i edit the Sub-Domain. How do i connect to the FTP? I tried just going to the URL but that

Want To Switch Domains
Not sure about what to do (4) I got some of those free .info domains from 1&1, and want to set it up for use with my hosting
account. I already pointed the domains to the Trap17 nameservers (ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.com
- are these correct?) and will use one of them as an addon domain. I understand I either have to
request a domain change, or spend an additional 5 credits to do this instantly, while in the
meantime, the domains aren't even registered, so I don't want to lose acces to my site while

Muliple Domains
to my trap17 subdomain (6) hi i was wondering, i registred a domain (www.armaniii.be) and i want to have this as a domain...
but i want more then just 1... so lets say i have 1234.be 4321.be blabla.be wassie.be and i want
them all to redirect to my site. so when you go to 1234.be you go to www.wassie.trap17.com same with
the others. But i also want to be able just to go to www.wassie.trap17.com. the domains (.be) must
also be able to do this: when i make a new directory at www.wassie.trap17.com lets say its
www.wassie.trap17.com/map/, the domains must also be able to acces it like www.1234.be/....
