Solaris 10

I just got Solaris 10 up and running and it's a pretty great system. However, I am still new to UNIX and I have no clue how to configure the system to be connected to my router. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure what kind of information I should provide if any, except that it is a router uses DHCP and has a DSL connection. I'm sure there must be some console commands I am able to call to properly configure all of this. Once again, any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't use solaris so I can't provide the exact detail. But you don't need to know which type of router is it! You just need a DHCP client. Check if your network card is detected.

In linux I use
CODE
ifconfig /a

I don't know if that would work in Solaris (After all it's un*x)

solaris initially not much provide the various type of network interface drivers.. you have to compile the kernel to probe the your network interface card.
