It looks a bit like it's from the 1990's, like the color scheme. It is dark and with a lot of flashy, blinking bright colors. So it's not very professional.

But I like the content very much. It is like a personal porfolio I suppose? Some place you can publish your projects. I wanted to make one of those for some time now, but never had the time.

Yeah, a softer look might be nice. The content side is very nice, though.
A light color on a light color with just a bit of dark looks nice (this site is a good example, white, light blue graphical bars, and then a little bit of a darker blue.

To be frank, this isn't exactly a site I would love to go. It reminds me of the kind of sites, 10 year old kids would do about themselves, using frames, black and all that. I see you are using a CMS to store your news, that is very interesting, keeping it short and sweet. Easy for the eyes.

But if you ask me about the colors, I would say I do not like what I am seeing. I always believe in websites, there is a need for the it to look attractive to attract visitors to the site. The fonts are all very big, it is very apparent and clear what you are trying to say. Just 1 image in the website, it does help in the loading of the site, but it really looks like an amateur site, don't be offended by this.

I would suggest you to design some graphics (banner, menu header, menus, backgrounds, patterns ... etc) to enhance your website. A good look will definitely entice more visitors to your site.

Oh my poor eyes! I think my retinas are burned beyond repair! Waaaaay too much contrast on that site, makes me want to close it before I go blind. I'm sorry but this page really turns me off. Where do I start with what is wrong with this site?

• No graphics to speak of
• Links that change font and size when you hover over them causing the page content to jump around
• Layout that appears differently in IE and Firefox, (didn't check with other browsers)
• Poor colour choices, blue text on maroon background is very hard to read
• Inconsistencies in fonts, styles and backgrounds on different pages, makes it look like a different site on each page
• Goingfrom black background on main page, to maroon on Hades and white on the winsock page really hurts the eyes

A web site should have a style that flows across each page so it looks like a package, not a few pages just thrown together. The style should use colours that compliment each other, not work against each other like the maroon and blue.

I didn't really take much notice of the content, I was too distracted by all the colours! I'm sorry, but the only memorable thing about this site is how bad it is.

I don't like to make these sorts of comments usually, but you really need to start over with this site. Have a look at a few templates to get some ideas of what colours work what colours don't.

The colors arent too bad, but I agree at the fact that they could be "updated" a little bit, it looks a bit dated, not to 21st century i suppose?

The content does look pretty good, just try to work on a different color scheme to try to liven the page up a bit and add to the professional aspect of your page. Keep up the work! Its coming along.

the site seems to be too flashy,i think making the fonts all white might help , the fluoroscent color is actually not feel good to eye,
and keep trying to make it best

I don't think the colors make the website look like somethign from the 1990's. I like the black background with the white, yellow and blue text. You can see everything very clearly and it gives you an idea about different sections. I mean that the titles of each post are yellow, the post itself is white and then the comment text is blue. It ggives an easy to follow layout.

The one thign i sugegst is to maybe fill in the scroll bar with color. It is a little hard to see at the moment and people might not realize that you can scroll down.

Otherwise it is a great looking site.

The layout is good, it's just the colour scheme, and font size (Especially when you roll over a link, and they go huge )

If you choose a certain colour (blue, green, ice blue, black and gray, white, whatever) and keep with it, then it'll look good. Also, change the links going huge.

Over than that, it's excellent.
