it is using the table tag,so it is not using the webstandards(xhtml,xml,css)
but IPB is not using xhtml also,
so i wonna ask,
is there a forum project by xhtml or xml with php?
and i just wanna this ,it should be opensource or free version.
so that i can limited my bandwidth if i put forum on my webhost.

not that i know of but xhtml is still in its baby stage of being used for big projects, i would think if invision decided to do their forums with xhtml in it, they would have to start from scratch, except for the php portions. because for some reason any use of the php script is xhtml complitant so it just depends who wants to spend the time looking up all the info to start it up a forum like that.

As far as I know (and tested), SMF is XHTML-compliant. It even has little buttons that you can use to do a validation on W3C's website at the bottom of the default theme.

Inconsistent links and problems with "Latest Activity" (4) Hi, I have noticed a bit of a problem with the forums here on Trap17. I don't know if this is a
problem with the Trap17 implementation, or with Invision Power Board in general, or with a mod that
is running on the forums here, and I'm sure that someone smarter than me can isolate the source

Why Do Hosted Members Need Posts Aproved In The Internet Forum?
This is deeply annoying. (4) Ive posted a few topics in the internet forum now, and its really annoying that hosted members (any
member in general but i understand about spam protection) need to have their topics approved. Now i

Do we have a specifc forum ? (2) OK I know this is a graphics forum but I've browsed through most of it and don't come across

There is a need (1) With Flash Player 9 on practically every PC, a lot of web developers are moving to Abobe Flex, Flash
and Actionscript as a development platform. I've seen a few posts related to the platform and I
feel that a dedicated forum is more than warranted. Flash discussions could fall under web design
as a sub-forum, while actionscript could fall under Programming Languages. There is also MXML to
consider. It's Adobe's custom mark-up language for flash components. But these are just
