| | I remember the days back at my high school (long time ago) we used to be able to go to some "safe" (non violent) game websites, like candystand.com. But then someone got around the filters one day to go to a pornographic website and the techies went nuts. We weren't allowed to do anything, and it was really really lame. But I suppose the best way to cope with it is to obey it. The only good thing that will come out of trying to beat the system is temporary gratification. You will be distracted from your schoolwork, you'll get in trouble (if your school has a competent IT department), and the dominos may start to fall and a lot of bad things can happen to you that will stay with you for a long time.
Besides, school days are relatively short. Wait until you get home. That's my advice. |

I have some advice for you guys who want to avoid school network policies. I learned that schools record everything you do on the computer. So I recommend you don't mess around with any settings. Other than that have fun posting.

hey yea i know u can get into alot of trouble.. but i really need help with this. i want to get to a website but my skool has blocked it. and the firewall is beyond strict. i cant get to any proxy sites cuz they block them too. ne know wut i can do?

There must be a good reason why the site you want to visit is blocked. And the only way to bypass all firewall is knowing how to disable it. And only administrators should disable the firewall otherwise you are “hacking” your school’s computer. Are you a h4ck3r?  If it’s that important to you to access this site from your school, ask your school’s administrator to let you access that page. Otherwise you may be exploiting your school’s resources so wait until you get home and use your personal computer.

I briefly ran into a problem signing into the Trap17 forums as well from one of my school's computers. I had to use an anonymous proxy since then. Thankfully, the problem was short-lived even though I didn't say anything to the admin. (It took less than a week.)

Our school is the same, they block every website except something like CBeebies  If I try to any thing on the internet at school, it blocks it! I haven't tried going on trap in school, I'll have to try it and report back!

yea at my high school im a freeshman now yay me but in our school they block absolutly everything they even blocked the site where the teachers put in our grades so there was a law suit the my school can now NEVER block a site again and best of all they can't check on us freakin sweet so we do basicly everything but theres one rule no downloading thats the only rule in our school but we are able to download images and thats it. --MechVegita an unstopable saiyan prince--

u guys have it lucky at your schools,our school doesn't have the internet!!!! all we can do is like type up essays and theres even a password that the teacher needs to type in so u can print!!! consider yourselfs lucky compared to my school.....but there is a really wierd thing my school has a website but we can't go on internet i just don't get it

My highschools internet is all filtered from accessing webistes such as games porn etc. In the past
i have managed to overcome this by accessing a proxy on numerous websites. This involves going to
this website then entering the desired blocked website into a input box. Then that website transfers
me to the blocked website via this webiste. At least this is how i think it works.... How can I add
something similar to this on a website of my own?...
