It used to be in the Preinstalled scripts section with a little icon liek the rest. . .

is it jsut me again ?

Strangely, Even I am not getting the fantastico in my cpanel.
here is the screenshot for it...it is the screenshot of the same place of which you are talking about at this point of time.

Ok got the solution for this....Actually OpaQue told that he is going to get the license for this new server and once he will be having the license Fantastico will be back in Cpanel

if you still can not find that,there must be something wrong with your account,so contact the admin.but i think you have solved it.

So now fantastico is back up and running for us. The server just didn't know it was installed.

I notice that phpbb installer has gone, for obvious reasons if u have fantatico, but i am still not seeing it.

   I know people ask alot especially the last few months, but is it ever going to come back.. Yes its
   better to upload and install all the programs directly from the sites and get the updated versions..
   but fantastico was so easy especially when i used it to run a quick test site for certain things.
