i am using flash 8 as my flash editor. I would like to put my Google Ads in the Flash movies i have set up. The only probelm is that i do not know how to put html in the flash program, i dont even know if it possible. The reason i want to do this is that the Flash i have on my site has music videos and the code to put the movie on other people's site imbedded in the flash movie. Placing Google Adsense ads in anything other than a complying website violates Google's program policys. I've asked Google and they said that they intended on expanding to include placement of ads in your programs/flash movies at a later date.

Flash And Transparency
(4) Hi folks. I want to know if its possible to modify the transparency of an image in flash to give a
gradual transparent gradient? EG like the T17 banner where the text "Trap17" reflects. I know i
can do this in the GIMP but i need the background of the image/text to be transparent, and GIF is
the onyl format i can do that reliably and of course GIF is indexed and so i cant have a gradual
fade effect. Im really stuck on this one and im no Flash expert so any ideas? Ive attached a

troubles managing (renaming, moving, deleting) movie files from the ca (0) I've recently bought a Panasonic Lumix TZ3, the one with a wideangle to telephoto lens (10x zoom
from 28mm to 280mm equivalent) and I am very satisfied with the overall performance. Obviously I
didn't buy the camera because of the movie features but occasionally I do take some short clip

There is a need (1) With Flash Player 9 on practically every PC, a lot of web developers are moving to Abobe Flex, Flash
and Actionscript as a development platform. I've seen a few posts related to the platform and I
feel that a dedicated forum is more than warranted. Flash discussions could fall under web design
as a sub-forum, while actionscript could fall under Programming Languages. There is also MXML to
consider. It's Adobe's custom mark-up language for flash components. But these are just

Flash As3 Question
Alternitives to root (2) Hi. Basically, the MovieClip(root) thing is dodgy at the best of times. Besides - it's not
recommended to use root at all. In fact, it's highly discouraged. I've seen plenty of posts
about this, but for the life of me, I can't find anything about what else I should use. What
alternative should I be using to access properties/mc's/etc from the root/parent time lines??

How To: Flash Streaming
How to (if possible) stream a flash (*.swf) movie over the net (4) Hello, Searched through the forum but didn't find any hits on how to do this. I've designed
a page that has an embeded flash movie (*.swf format). The page works great when I test it on my
local server but when I post it on the net the movie (about 2 megs in size) takes a while to load.
Is there any way to stream the movie as opposed to have the browser download it all at once? Any
