| | Hey guys, I plan to buy the Sony Ericsson S500 soon. I've tried reading a few reviews and I stumbled across a post which said that the keys of the S500 are cracking!!! Is that true? Does anyone own the Se S500.
I've already fallen in love with the phone and it would be sad if the phone was defective!!!

the black and green SE S500i have problems with not only their keypads, but their scrollpad too. I heard it was a bad chemical reaction with the green color paint, but that they potentially fixed it with the new phones? Don't know if the fixed phone thing is true, but YES the key pads not only crack, they start to malfunction VERY QUICKLY. half of my keys busted after only a month! nice phone, i have heard its amazing phone with the cracked keypad. other than keypad, this phone is usefull for standard phone with 2MP camera., with the low price too.,

This phone is drop dead gorgeous but after seeing what the other reviews said about this phone, I am skeptical as to whether I should be spending any amount of money on this. Replying to angad619Me my sister and brother inlaw all got the s500i I have had so far;; a broken screen, broken key pad, the whole screen went blue and the battery runs out in no time My sisters turns off al the time without turning it off And my brother inlaws had his sent off and repaird 6 times -reply by shanibarbe

Problems With The Sony Ericsson S500?
So far with in the week I got this phone the battery runs out really quickly I notice it the next day at the end of the week I had a broken screen I don't know what's going to happen after I fix my screen so I will have to wait right now I just have my phone put away until I'm able to get a new screen I can tell you I think that I might have some regrets that I bought this phone I'll see what goes wrong once I get it fixed. :( -reply by Laura

Replying to angad619I bought the phone and it was really nice at first but yes if you drop it a couple times the keypad does crack and now my screens broken too. If I were you don't get it.

Using Mobile Phone As A Modem
Does any1 do this? And can you help with my problems (37) Hi all, i currently am using my Sony Ericsson T610 as a modem on my laptop using a data cable on
Optus in Australia and i have been doing it for free for about a week now and it's great but it
dose have it's up's and downs. Ok using my Sony Ericsson T610 as a modem i can visit most
sites but some sites such as awardspace don't work but i found a way to get around it. If you
can't access cetain sites i just use a Proxy such as http://www.vpntunnel.net and it usually
fixes that problem, otherwise i can't access it all together. OK another problem ....
Razr Problems
Keypad Doesn't Work (17) Hello, Can anyone help me? I own a Motorola Razr V3 and the only key that works is the on off
button. I have never dropped it and i take excellent care of my phones. It was working fine for a
few months and one day it just stopped working. The screen still works and I can awnser phone calls
by opening the flip part, but I can't call anyone or text or anything that requires pushing a
button unless it is to turn it on or off. I hace looked online and it seemse other people ahve had

Sony Ericsson W600i - Bad Product
(1) I got my sony ericsson w600i about... 2 months ago from amazon...bought three of them actually..
.one for every of my brothers. too bad i didn't read the amazon rebate form carefully enough....
it said you could get up to 5 rebates for each household.. .but then it also said only 1 rebate for
each phone plan... which i completely missed that.. so we basically had to pay like 250 for 3
phones.. .including tax. ...i guess that is still a good deal.. because it's a nice phone..
great features... so.. you guys are all wondering.. why would i hate it if it's a gr....
