Problems With Imageready - it keeps running out of memory

can anyone help, imageready keeps running out of memory when i try and optimize and save.
Is anyone else having this problem?

what are you computer specs? you most likely need to upgrade your memory if you
keep getting this problem. try to clear up some HD space too, since intensive processing
like this requires a huge swap file.

that's a powerful spec... i have lower specs than that but i'm not having problems
with imageready. hmmmnn.... i'm stumped. have you tried re-installing it? that
may help, but no guarantees though.
