Oh, I've heard about it, its shown at the admin cp, but why phpbb has so many subversions? why they just cant gather all important fixed and make it phpbb 2.1?

yah.. the most is the security patch fall under viewtopic file but there are also some minor fixes on others files.. phpBB 2.0.6 will be the most stable and one step in this version 2. afterward, all the versions are about to launch olympic version a.k.a phpBB3  cant wait to see!

Cool ill get it soon. Phpbb is probably the best free forum software in my opinion. Some of the hacks on it are realy good.  Ipb is still the best though

Yes, phpbb is the best free forum, but IPB is no longer free, or it'll rule the free forum world... Lets just hope that phpbb3 will be more fantastic than IPB 2.1...

Trouble With Phpbb Email
(1) Hi guys, I want to know if there is anything you can do for sending confirmation email to your
users automatically when they have just regeistered, when the host server does not support SMTP

Php Date() Problem [resolved]
date() seems to loop same ninute. (4) My setup is a macbook pro and I have apache+ mysql + php already included I think. the php is
version 4.4.4 I have been using the date() to store dates into my mysql tables in the past and it
worked corectly. I dont know what could of happen but now the date() function is returning an
incorrect time. I made a test script test.php CODE <?php $date_time =
date('y-m-d H:m:s'); echo($date_time); ?> and loaded
it up. My laptops system time would be 1.35.33 PM and the date and time returned from php would be
07-....

In phpbb (2) I am having forum trouble in phpbb. Whenever I go to post something or add someone to a group or

Annoying Extension Checker In Phpbb
^^ how do I get rid of it? (0) I happily installed the new version of phpBB, and I noticed it checks the extension on off-site
avatars. I wrote a little php script which randomly cycles my avatars, so, needless to say, I was
rather disappointed. For some strange reason, I couldn't find where it checks the extension in
the phpBB code (so that I could comment it out). Does anybody know what I'm talking about?....
