Phpbb Shoutbox Possible?

Hi people,
i'm running a phpbb forum and now i've to put a shoutbox on it..
Is it possible?
If yes from where do i get the script?
And in which folder should i upload the file..anyhelp would be much appreciated..

We've desgined a shoutbox that is still in beta stage and currently only supports IPB - but it should be relatively easy to implement it in PHPBB too. We'll announce an installer soon that'll allow you to install this in several well-known forum softwares as well as plain html/php webpages.

Check my post in this thread for a small tutorial on setting up your own shoutbox. Works equally well for phpBB. However you may also want to install a Chat Box which is way coller in that it lets users chat in an almost realtime chat environment. Download and install the ChatBox mod.

You can download (as said before) one on phpbbhacks, but be carefull. I did it once and my whole forum got f*cked up...., because of different versions and things like that. Another very simple thing you can do, is beginning use PHPBBPlus. It is the same as PHPbb, but with lots of mods and expansions already installed, you can convert your normal forum to a phpbbplus forum easily. (Just backup everything just in case). The shoutbox is already there. You can download PHPbbPlus here.

I am having forum trouble in phpbb. Whenever I go to post something or add someone to a group or

Are you use free webhosting??? smtp.php and emailer.php are general error on CMS like phpBB . It

ok i feel a little silly posting this as im sure the answers are simple but im really not used to
working with pre-made web scripts that have so many files: Q1. I have added a real cool army theme

ok, i type in eveything that phpbbb asked to install, and i use the info i got in the mail and made
a db, but it doesn't work at all.......instaed it says "An error occurred trying to update the

Annoying Extension Checker In Phpbb - ^^ how do I get rid of it? (0)

I happily installed the new version of phpBB, and I noticed it checks the extension on off-site
avatars. I wrote a little php script which randomly cycles my avatars, so, needless to say, I was
rather disappointed. For some strange reason, I couldn't find where it checks the extension in
the phpBB code (so that I could comment it out). Does anybody know what I'm talking about?...
