Are we alowed to run an php-IRC-bot on Trap17.com ? The bot uses socets to connect to the IRC-server and have no need for a Cron-job to run it. If we are alowed, could we get port 8080 or 6667 open for communication. It seem to be blocked... Test Socets connection

Personally, I wouldn't want to see it open generally, as it puts the server somewhat at risk.

But I would love to see how this works, as I once attempted sockets in mIRC script, and wasn't aware you could do something like that in php.

All-in-all, I love the idea, but don't know about it.

Well what is the point with member-area-forum if the admins don't read the post and reply to them.

Could be other that are interested in this too... so that we all have to PM admins don't sounds wise to me. Think I will try to wait some more days...
