Ok i signed up with paypal premium. The free sign up really supprised me but the fees they dock you with are present (yet not very bad). But i found out how good there shoping cart was. Its basicly automated so you wont have to input very much on one button. It also generates the html code for you to use to. But The problem with this cart is that you have to manually make each button for each product. But at least you give your users a secure checkout and have an email notification for each purchase that gets made. Now here is my question: Is it ok to have people purchase things on your site but you buy it from another company and have that companie ship it to them? But i did have the users agree to that happining.
Anyways if you want to look at the setup that i have then go to www.metalmusic.trap17.com and if you want to see how this pricing is set up click the buy cd's place on the top and click an artist.
No reason why not. Paypal is a payment processor. Their fees are amoung the lowest especially for low volume users. The lowest your going to get from a processor is $.35 + 1.5% per transaction. I worked for a company that sold those services at one time and that was our absolute floor we could negoiate all the way down to.
Anyway, what your doing is drop shipping. Not totally un heard of. You can certainly have Paypal process your transaction and collect the money, then you order and have the product drop shipped to them.
On larger purchases with our farm that's happened. We ordered some new grain storage bins. The bin dealer didn't have them in stock, he had them shipped from the factory after we paid him.
Recently I stumbled upon this story. -->
http://web.ask.com/redir?u=http%3A%2F%2Ftm...snip&Complete=1 I have no idea why it is so long.
Anyway it states how many people are choosing to create their own merchant accounts rahter than use
the free Paypal. I am asking because I have a paypal account and I don't find it to be that bad.
Though I am not entirely sure because I have only used it once. Do any of you not trust paypal?...
I've been getting those stupid scam emails for years, where they tell you to update your
security info. I hope EVERYBODY knows those are a scam and NEVER click through. The proper response
is to forward them to SPOOF@PAYPAL.COM, then delete the message without going to the site. Now
there's a new one--at least this is the first time I've gotten one. This time they tell you
that you've added a new email address and they want you to confirm. Again, the answer is to
forward to SPOOF@PAYPAL.COM without clicking through or going to that site, then delete the ...
Hello all- So I've been thinking recently, and I wanted to use PayPal's "web payments Pro"
on my website as a way for users to purchase their computers directly the way they have customized
them. I need some help getting the system in place though. I know a decent amount about website
design, coding, and such, but very little about "e-commerce" in general. What do I need to get this
payment system set up? Shopping cart, payment processor, what? Its all pretty new to me. If someone
could give me some advice, or atleast point me in the right direction as far as w...

As an avid ebay user, paypal is something that I cannot live without. However, the time has come
where they will not let me make a free transaction without suspending my account for weeks at a
time. The reason being that I purchase a lot of Roman artifacts from the Netherlands and the
Balkins. Paypal sees these as risky transactions even though they are ones that I make every week
or so. I would like to know if anybody has come across any alternatives to PayPal that still have
the usability of PayPal. I recently went to the site www.paypalsucks.com, however they see...
I have no experiance with online shopping carts (though offline, that is a completely other story
lol!). Anyway, what I'm wondering is, are the shopping carts that paypal offers simple to
impliment, and do they do a good job? Can you modify them in ways to make them do certain things
that you want to do? For instance, I wish to sell online products, that once someone buys something,
it gets sent to them, as soon as the money arrives in the account. Since they are images, or stories
or other digital media, this shouldn't be a problem, right? Or do I have to ...
