Now, you can also use Skype to makes North American calls for FREE. I dont understand HOW they are able to provide free PC-to-PHONE calls though!

Well most computers are already able to use their equipment to connect to the internet via the phone or cable lines. So that means they go from computer to the lines outside back to another computer. They've made the technology so easy to do everyone has it now, so I think it would about the same or maybe even easier to connect to a telephone rather than switching the signal back into another computer.
