No offence, but unless your friend is going to get advertisement and get a significant amount of sites to sign up, a search engine is really pointless.

I mean, anyone who is going to sign their webpage up for that will also add theirs to google. So google will end up being his search engine+more. It is a great idea, but I don't see the point in it.

Also, if you are serious about this site, it looks very sloppy and just thrown on there. I would recommend getting a better setup.
