Now, i'm new to this program, i've just replied once and that was in the games section with
quake 3. if you've been there, you'll know that i'm a computer and a games freak. If ya
wanna know something or are just have trouble and need help with anything got to do with computers,
hardware, software, games and game consoles, you've come to the right guy. Now when you put 2
graphics cards in your motherboard, you only get to use 1. It is impossible to use 2. When you
install the software and the drivers for the cards, you must pick which one to use....

well, i have a dell, and so i went to the dell support website and looked up what my graphics card
was...im sure i could have done it from my computer as well, but i decided to do it on dells
website...and it says that i have an QUOTE Display Adapters Intel® 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics
Controller 64Mb and to play World Of Warcraft i need an QUOTE 32 MB 3D graphics card with
Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA® GeForce™ 2 class card or above and im not too
good with computer tecnical stuff so i dont quite know if my Graphics Card will work ...

I know laptops generally have pci slots and you generally can't change the graphics card however
do normal graphics pci express cards work in laptops. im actually talking about an GeForce 8600GT
512mb and this laptop Click Here I know it has a good Graphics card already but its not the one i
want so... will it work?...

I know that generally you cannot upgrade a laptops graphics card! I am thinking of getting THIS
laptop and it has a good graphics card which according to Nvidia's wesite will be direct x10
compsatible but in the future I may want a new graphics card without a new laptop, is it possible
with this laptop because it has dedicated memory in the graphics card so i am not entirely sure as
for ram and hard drive i believe it can have double the ram and double the hd space I am no expert
of laptops so thats why i am asking the specs aren't hugely instructive b...

Hi I just got this computer last week and its running great , bar a few small probs. Today i have
noticed that my AGP Aperture size is set to 64mb My card is a nVIDIA Geforce 6200 256MB AGP I was
just wondering if it is at all possible that i can change the aperture size to 128 or 256. I just
done today a bios update ,but i still see no setting for me to be able to configure this option. I
just manage to get the agp slot running at 8x ,as it was at 4x when i got the computer. I think the
bios update fixed that ,but am still not making any progress in fixing the Ape...

Just out of curiosity I want to here your opinion, if you were making a computer and there was a
choice of a 8800GTX and a 8800Ultra which one would you take. The logical answer would be the
8800ULTRA since it has higher clock speeds, better looking etc but I've heard some people say
that the 8800Ultra overheats your computer, too big, and uses too much power. Others say that the
8800GTS is much more worth the money, what do you prefer?...

Alright, I'll stay by telling you what Graphics Card I have, so there's not confusing. I
have a RECENTELY purchased 258mb GeForce 5500 graphic card. I installed it on my computer, a long
with the drivers.. What I didn't do!; Stupidly enough, I never plugged my monitor into the
graphics card, ha. So for about 2 months I thought I was running a GeForce, when I was actually
running an Intel Extreme Graphics card, ya, don't ask me how I didn't notice. I figured

So, what're your thoughts after seeing it in action in some form or fashion? NVIDIA has showcase

released any tech demos for at least the basic stuff you can do (or at least for those with Windows
Vista RC1/2). The thing that trips me out the most is the water effect (the DX10 geometry shader).

Hey guys im thinking of buying a laptop and I would like to know what you guys felt on these two
differnt brands specifially in laptops. It seems that in most amds you have ATIs and in most intels
you have Nvidia is this just coincedence? Also some one the other day was telling me that ATI is so
much better a 128 meg ati is the same as a 256 nvidia true? Any help on this would be great.

some news for the mac fans There is a rumor going around on the web that the new macbook has a
graphics down grade from its old g4 brother. some of you might be thinking i am just talking crap,
but it looks like that the new macbook has its graphics capabilities somewhat intergrated with the
intel chip. this puts more processing calls on the processor and less on the graphics card causing a
lower graphics speed and performance. the old g4 did not do this, it only had the graphics card do

am tryin to get good graphics on my system,but at the same time i want to keep it simple and achieve
a balance between functionality and cost,integrated graphics chips on a system board are cheaper
take less system resources but may not give high end performance while on the other hand video cards
are quite expensive,take a toll on system resources and thier gains are bogged down in low end
systems,am running a low budget pls advise...
