making your own computer is really fun,one of my friends have did that,the biggest benefit of making your own computer is that you actually save a lot of money if you buy the components from internet first of all just google "how to make my own computer" and you'll find loads of tutorials then just choose the best component and compare its prices on ebay,mpire and many other sites that compare the prices from all over internet for you,then buy the cheapest and the best quality product ,that's the benifit of buying from internet you get everything so cheap best of luck hope you get your pc running soon

If you want a gaming PC, then put put about 30% of your budget on the graphic card because it is the most important thing to make games run smoothly and the way it should be!!! Second have atleast 512 mb ram, and a 3.0GH CPU, the video memory should be atleast 256 mb, the whole thing would cost about 400 to 500$ (only the case). That's my idea about a good PC hope you like this plan!! And good luck!!

you can't just come and ask us for ideas and parts for a pc haha. we need to know what your going to use it for and what budget you're looking at. pcs aren't that simple, but yes Hadi suggested some pretty good points. if you're looking to buy it in one piece, then its alot harder to determine how it will perform. its best that you customise a pc part by part so you know what to expect once you buy and use it. what will you be using it for?

If you want it to look unique, and save money on the case, I strongly suggest a really old used case dating from 1990. Those computers, unlike today, have a "Turbo" button. No idea what the button does, I never pressed it. Sounds impressive though. I heard that the best use for the button is ignore it. Admittedly, the cases themselves don't look that great, but at least it looks vintage!

Decent Computer

Can't Start Up My Computer
(6) I can't start up my computer. When I switch it on, it just goes to a blank screen, or sometimes,
it will go to the Blue Screen of Death, and the message on it changes every time, so I don't
even know how to solve it. I've gotten the Page Fault In Non Paged Area error a couple of times.
I tried to boot my computer from my Windows XP Service Pack 1 CD, but after running it and repairing
Windows XP, the problem isn't solved. I've also tried to start my computer from safe mode

Buying Laptop, What Brand Is The Best For Me?

problem of the computer restarting while playing games, this could very well be the reason but I
can't confirm anything. When I bought my graphics card Winfast A6200 TD, a minimum of 400w

New Computer, Help With Parts?
(12) so you may have heard that my pc died a while back, i was trying to see if anybody in this forum
knew how to fix it lol. anyway, i've now decided to replace some parts in it, a simple upgrade.

Is it better? (7) What do you think of the widescreen display laptops are beginning to adopt nowadays? Is that the
right way to go? Or should we stick to our original display (800 * 600, 1024 * 768 ... etc) instead
of (1280 * 800). For me I think these widescreen display should be the way to go, it allows you

Strange Thing Happened To My Computer
(26) I was on my computer a couple nights ago. Chatting with some friends and email what have you. And
all of a sudden, It froze. I was like, Oh great. So i shut down the computer using the button. And
then i flipped it on. Nothing happend, it sounded like it turned on but the power light that stays
