Hello. My Mysql databases appear to have been removed off of my account, yet according to my cpanel, space is still being used on databases. Hopefully I haven't lost any of my data, because I haven't taken a backup after recent updates, but If I have, I'll have to make do with previous backup. Any idea what's wrong? Here's a quote from my cpanel QUOTE

As you can see, my database data still appears to be on the system, but I can't access my database at all, nor can my scripts. Hope you can help  Edit: Sorry If I've posted in the wrong forum, wasn't sure which one to post in, saw this was free webhosting support, so posted here, but just noticed another support forum. Please move if it's in the wrong place!

I checked and mine is the same. Outages like this happen every so often, so it's happening to everyone. You can scroll down in your cpanel, on the left hand side, at the very bottom, It says "Server status - Click to view" That will show you if it's just your problem or something that is happening across the board. Right now I see that there are a couple of things down. MySQL and something called "eximstats"

Ouch, I didn't think to look on the server status tab. I guess I should've checked it out, I guess this is a warning reminding me to take a backup! Sorry for the hassle and thanks for your help brandice This topic is now solved

Im trying to access my forum since last night http://forum.pakdir.combut its not working.It says critical error occured.Is it something wrong with my forum or its because of the server problem ???

ok so it happens often, umm would i be able to get back my data bases or is it gone for GOOD?.... Trap17 is a good Service,and since its free i dont mind Outages like this once in a while,just as long as my data is safe. cuz as of the moment,I totally forgot to back my db up,So i am praying that it will return soon

Failures to servers ain't data loses, they occur more as power failures or hardware failures. Im not 100% sure, but i'd say the server runs its own back up anyway, but thats not always safe to assume. Also, this is a very rare thing, hasn't happened until now since i been here. If you think of how many web sites we have running here were webmasters just install a script that automates there datebase, they won't backup, or even know how in some cases, so apart of any great service like Trap17, i guess they keep on top of it.

How Do I Find My Mysql Password? [resolved]
Cannot access my MySQL (5) After all the recent problems, my account has been restored. I have setup my parked domain agin, and
that works fine. However, I can no longer access my MySQL databases (I can from PHPMyAdmin, but
that's all). I had to create a new user for my databases, and created the user with exactly the
same username and password I had before, but some of my web pages do not let me access the pages I
have associated with my databases. Where could i find out what my DB password is? (Although I am as
good as sure I am using the right one). I have tried my old password, the new c....
Very Disappointed With Data Center Migration

My site has been down more time than it has been up. I have had to contact Live Support at Xisto 4

Remote Access Mysql
(8) Is it possible to directly access my local database from my website? For example, if somebody
submits info on my website, the info they submitted would be transferred to my local database
directly. Is that possible? And if so, how do I set that up? The reason I don't want to upload
my database to my subdomain is because it would be difficult to keep the website database and my

I Need Help Transferring Sql Database?

Changes In Phpmyadmin

Help! I Deleted All My Files!
(5) Hi guys, i got hosted yesterday and i loged on to my file manager and deleted all the files in there
i replaced them with my site including the index.htm page and now when i try to view it it says no

Phpbb2.17 Mysql Problems
Just this week they started (4) The forum has been up and running for about a year and a half. It has been through numerous server
upgrades, etc, including the recent HDD change, but for some reason, just this week it started

Database Connection Problem
phpBB2 installation error (5) *edit* Ok well the original problem has been solved. I have installed phpBB2 on my new how here.
Transfered all of the database files over. On my new forums all of the old posts and everything
shows up right. The problem is when I click the "Go to administration panel" at the bottom it links
me to log into my ACP on my old forums. It changes the url and all. If I hover over the link it
says that it will be directed to the right way, the way I want, but it doesn't. Does anyone
know anyway to fix this?....
99 Mysql Databases?
(2) I just got my account, and I was wondering: do we really get 99 MySql databases? I've read a
lot of the stuff about it, and it sounded like we only get one database, but my cPanel says that I
have "0 / 99" databases. If it's lying, it's not really a problem, because I could always
just prefix my tables, but I was just wondering why it would say that. If for some reason it was
letting me get more than one database, and I wasn't supposed to, I don't want to get my

refresh site, they not that often but still i get them. It says "could not connect to database". And

Cpanel And Mysql Problem. [resolved]
(3) hi all - i'm going to make this brief. my CMS (drupal 5.0) and forum (SMF 1.1.1) cannot connect
to the mysql db. however their files CAN still be accessed. I also tried uploading a file through an
ftp client and the file could be accessed. HOWEVER: cpanel cannot be accessed either. it simply
loads with a blank page. however both worked earlier today. so is there a problem with the server?
