| | does anybody know how to make a scrollbar for my game page I am making on my site. This whole site is completely in flash. I know how to make a scrollbar for just words but not when there is an image on there also. Does anybody know? |

The site is here http://www.alexw.trap17.com and go to games. I want to put more games on the page but there is no room. This is why I want to make a scroll bar so I can move the page down. I don't know how to do this so can anybody please help me. I am using Macromedia Flash 8 to make the site.

Making A Scroll Bar In Flash
Use xml and load the <img src into the actionscript and it will put pictures in dynamic text box. You can mess with an external css file to show how picture will interact with the text also -reply by shwagman

Making A Scroll Bar In Flash
I am making a banner on that I want to use external images to come after 3 sec time interval. I used loadmovie for it but I am not able to set time interval for it. Can any one pls tell me how to do it. I am just new for action scripting don't know much. Thanks to you all for helping me. -question by Anula Singh

You can put that in a scollbar, but you need to upload the image on the internet to do that. Read the help file for more instrutions.

does anyone know how to import a flash into a webpage with transparenc (1) Hi I need some help , Im designing this website for school studies However, I made a flash drop down
menu, works perfectly, but you know how flash has a background when you export it in to a SWF file?
For example my flash is width= 800, and height = 200 but my div box on my html page for my
navigation is only 50 px my buttons is width of 50px and the rest of the content is the drop down
animations i want to insert it into my navigation div box but i want to set the flash background to
transparent so that when the drop down menu comes down it overlaps the text or whateva....

flash game in the middle of a page. However, the site navigation has dropdown menus that go on top

Image Calling Problem Solved
I was having issues trying to call an image from a folder. (1) Alright so this is for example You'd have a site and the structure is like this.
http://www.url.com/ a folder of images /images/ and some pages in this parent directory. However,
I have another folder so it's http://www.url.com/other/ and this index page needs to call
things from http://www.url.com/images/ and it can't. It won't load. I've had the
call be to CODE <img src="images/" or <img src="../images/" and
<img src="http://www.url.com/images/" It doesn't work. I can't....

(0) I posted this in the wrong place the first time: I searched the internet for about 2 hours on the
topic of using relative links in flash movies. I created my entire portfolio website in flash and at
the time I made it, i created all absolute links which turned out to be aweful. I couldn't find
anywhere to to use relative links and every time I tried nothing worked. I finally figured it out
yesterday. In order to get relative links to work you need to have the flash movie file in a

Image Not Taking The Right Size In Web Page
An image is correct when designed, but not when put in a website (1) When trying to make a web page with a GIF image on it which runs a coloured bar along the top and a
coloured curve along the side, I come across the weird thing that, when I put the image on a web
site, it does not take in the whole top and does not run from top to bottom completely. The image is
made in Adobe Photoshop at a resolution of 1024X768 pixela and looks correct , ie. the horizontal
bit runs completely from left to righ and the vertical bit completely from topright to bottom right,
yet when put in to the web page, it shows with big margins left and right and to....
