Sending the links will help the other party to download it from your account.
But there is a more to Foldershare than this. It helps in synchronizing your files between computers (office and home...etc.).
You never have to transport your files manually. Just map two different folders in different computers and as you make changes, it syncs in both systems.
You can also share between n number of people. So collaborating is also so easy.
Its from Microsoft Live and in Beta and its good.
This is very similar to Briefcase in Windows, but its online and automatic.
Not just synchronizing, there is more to foldershare. Its peer to peer and has more new solutions to it. For example me and friend tried to share some files which we did by linking a folder in my system and my friend linking a folder in his system to a public library in foldershare.
Is it similar to a torrent?
Yes… To some extend, it is similar to that service.
I have shared around 15GB of contents (all my movies in my system…) in my system and my friend has put all his movies in his system and so we are getting a peer-peer service from foldershare and its working perfect… There is a limit in file size which is 2GB which is very much sufficient.
Whats more? – Its absolutely free and very good for a Beta service and I am one of the very satisfied customers. I seriously recommend this foldershare service to all members out there…
