You must have something faulty going on with your router, or your USB receiver has a problem. Did you install the updated drivers for the USB device? I would check that first. Otherwise, does the USB receiver pick up other wireless signals and hold a connection? If it does, I suppose you must have a faulty router, though this is very strange as I personally have purchased numerous Linksys routers for customers and have had nothing but unparalleled success. Also, you could always check the wireless configuration on the router (probably try factory defaults first to make sure). Hope this helps!

crashcore has the right suggestions. Are you able to keep a solid connection when browsing the web for example vs. playing WOW? You also did not specify how far from the router your usb device is. There are a lot of factors that can influence wireless reception. Concrete walls, microwaves, cordless phones, wireless tv setups, etc (they all use 2.4 ghz bandwith) Im assuming your using 802.11b/g. Let us know some more details and we can try and pinpoint the problem. Like crash said above, it is very rare that a linksys router would be faulty. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

Issues With Router Freezing
(3) I am curious as to if anyone else here experiences random freezing with their routers. It seems to
happen to me most when using my D-Link, and I end up having to unplug it and replug it back in every
hour or so. The same thing happens at my neighbor's house and we have the same type of router. I
don't know the model number off the top of my head but I can go check if it is needed. As for
the issue, I do use wifi internet, and so I was assuming maybe that could be the issue? I'm not
sure if maybe the internet being disconnected and reconnected extremely fast ....
Connecting Pc To Linksys Router
Can't do it... (5) Ok, I have PC1 connected to my router just fine (though wired because wireless card is faulty) I am
trying to connect PC2 to internet so i can DL some updates and what not. Only thing is... it's
not working. I pull the Ethernet cable from PC1 and insert into PC2 and a little bubble in the
bottom right-hand corner comes up that says "Local Area Connection Connected.... 100Mbps" I open my
browser (both I.E. and firefox) and both act as if there was no connection at all. IPconfig....
fine Ping IP.... fine. What is the deal? PC2 WAS originally connected to another....

Wireless Router Problems.
Keeps dropping network. (8) I recently bought a laptop(HP Pavilion dv9000) with integrated wireless and I wanted to set-up
wireless in my house. So, I bought a wireless router, more specifically I bought a Netgear 108mps
router, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000C0XS0 . Now I got the wireless router before I got
the router and set it up. But made all of the correct connections and ran the setup wizard. I got no
errors or anything. I set the security to WPA2 and set the passphrase and everything correctly also.
Now, when I got my laptop I set it up and everything and it found my wireless netw....
Linksys Wireless Pci Card
(3) I have an old desktop at home that is used as a second PC (a sort of backup), for example if someone
is using the newer PC, or its running a virus scan or something. Anyway, this desktop was connected
into my network's router by about 30 feet of Cat5 cable, which was then hooked into the PC with
the use of an ethernet-to-USB converter (it has no ethernet port). We decided to move this desktop
elsewhere, which meant the cable would no longer be of use to connect it with. Despite the age of
the PC (around 7 or 8 years old) I decided to make wireless, so that no matter....

Belkin Pre-n Wireless Router And Macbook Pro C2d
Why can't I get the speed to 108? (3) Ok, here's the situation. I've got a Belkin wireless 802.11n (pre-n) router and it works
fine with it's own card in my Dell laptop. 108 Mbps all day long but I can't seem to get
that kind of speed with my MBP C2D. I just downloaded and installed the $2 firmware update
today and it's showing up in network utilities so I know it's active. I just changed the
Belkin to 802.11g only thus giving b the boot. So, according to the software manual, it now will
support g and n. What can I do to get the n speed with this thing? Thanks.....
