I have used popups on my sites in the past but nowadays most people have blockers so it would be a waste of bandwidth. I always saw when desiging a website if it annoys the hell outta me it will probally do the same to everybody else. I used to like them but i think now they are nothign but a waste of time and bandwidth.
Pop-ups r annoying because u have to make that extra click to get it off ur taskbar
I don't like them. I avoid them. I used to put some pop up on my site but that drove the visitors avay. That is way i use opera
 the best browser ever. My personal view is that click thrugh is the best way to make money and adevertise, on key public. It's more rewarding.
Everyone hates pop up ads, they're annoying, slow down the websites you're surfing. Before windows sp 2 I had been using all kinds of pop up blockers, but still, sometimes a website had a link to open a window and it wpuldn't open it because of the pop up blocker, so I started using, netscape, opera, firefox and well then after the update EI, it feels good to surf the internet without having to close windows everywhere and programs installing by it self without permissions.
How can you like pop ups or advertising. I hate it, slows down my pc and makes me think twice before visiting the site that has pop ups again. If I need to buy something or am looking for something I will search on google to find it, I don't want people to show me something while I'm busy viewing a webpage.
But I guess some people like it as the ad's are still on websites and still don't show signs of disappearing  .
I got like 5 things that block popups and stuff still gets by, i thank u admin for not using popups on this site
Naa I swear this website has pop ups... or either I have ad ware or spyware what ever.......Anyways whilst I was playing on crazy closet a pop up...POPPED UP and I could of got into 3rd place...oh well...
I don't think anyone likes pop ups especially all those porno ones that come up when your on a mp3 downloads website. Anyways people only have pop ups because it gets more taffic for those it is advertising... And for those who are advertising is getting money....So it helps both sides as well as not help them... I find them really annoying and I normally get to the point where I can't do anything whilst madly clicking [X] trying to close all of them....
Banners are more likely to be clicked, by accident or intentionally.
But then again sites with lots of advertisements look cluttered. Pop ups can be blocked, are enoying, everyone hates them. BUT they don't get clutter up your website and are easily clicked by accident, and they can give alot more info in the advertisement to attaract possible interested clicks. both have their advantages and disadvantages, but i personally try to avoid Advertisements. But if i do ever use them they have to look good, be classy and give some useful info., . . not big flashing banners with graphics like a MS Windows windo Saying "CLICK HERE!!!" .. . . . soooooooo tacky n nasty, same with the "Free screen saver" ones on this site *And Bexa, you probably have spyWare or a trojan on ya pc. There arnt any pop up adds on this site.
Yeh I know that sucks...I have the trojan thing....That sucks as welll...Everything sucks...grrr....Bloody ads...they are so annoying.Even when I am offline they pop up......
