K-Meleon appears to be a browser for Windows based on Firefox. At this time it appears it only works with 32 bit versions of windows so if you have vista setup as a 64 bit OS then it may not work. Yup, i have tried the K-meleon browser. It uses the gecko engine, same with firefox. It's really fast, faster than opera, so this browser looks great, but it lacks extensions comparing with firefox. K-Meleon may be used under windows or linux.

Is this browser actually faster, or does it just feel faster because you expect it to be (i.e. has anyone actually done test comparing its speed to Firefox's?) If this is considerably faster, I may look into it as I don't have very many extensions that I use on Firefox.

yes, i guarantee that K-meleon is faster than Firefox, opera, netscape, IE. You can try by yourself I think to prove this one.,

I ran the page speed rendering test located here: http://scragz.com/tech/mozilla/test-rendering-time.php, and firefox loaded it in between 5 and 5.5 seconds. K-meleon rendered it in about the same amount of time (maybe averaging about 0.1 seconds faster), but I wouldn't say this test proves K-meleon is a lot faster than firefox. Does anyone have a link to a rendering test K-meleon does faster than firefox?

Yes, the different is very small between each browser. some web page really fast to lad with IE, some others not. Its depend on web page location and so on.

I heard about it when it was still in development. I had completely forgotten about it, I am going to go try it since I am sort of fed up with firefox at the moment. :S their website appears to be down

A short synopsis of my comic book project "Anything Goes" (7) I am currently working on my ongoing comic book and manga project called “Project: Anything Goes”.

Odd Flower Out
School Project (6) I go to Mt. Hood community college majoring graphic design. This was our first in class project in
the photography section. It was just some BRIGHT pink flowers with some yellow in them. I wanted to

Planetarium School Project
(2) owke we have another project again: story: In a zoo called "Artis" is a planetaruim that is
getting a make over. We need to make some stuff to promote the planetarium. Our teacher encourages
