Apple has released a new version of Ipod.
Actually it replaces the Ipod mini in the ipod series. It is called the Ipod Nano.
It is actually a slim ipod, 1.6 x 3.5 x .27 in size and weighs 1.5 ounces approx 43 grams.
It includes a color display and capability to view images and slideshows...
The battery life has also been extended.

An iPod that is that small would be pointless for showing images and slideshows on, you wouldn't be able to see anything! Eventually they're just going to get too small to use.

Eventually they're just going to get too small to use. Well, not necessarily. The only thing that they changed in terms of size is the height of the ipod. Instead of being 2 inches for the normal ipod, the nano will be MUCH smaller than 2 inches. The screen width won't be changed that much displaying images won't be a problem. I agree with you about the size not being able to use though. If they get anymore skinnier, then the ipod will be easier to snap in half, and that would be bad.

oh yh i saw the advert on tv it looks kinda cute but i dnt know if it would be too good the £126 one would be good enough you only need to listen to some music and thats it or am i wrong?

I saw a pretty funny (fake) video on GPrime. It is a fake advertisement for the "iPod Flea". It play's one song over and over and over. It shows a variety of products that go along with it, including: The Flea Collar, a collar that you wear on your neck, that carries many iPod Fleas. The iPod Flea control kit, including a magnifying glass, and a poker to operate the microscopic buttons on the flea. The extra battery, a car battery sized battery, that you put anywhere on the headphones, to increase battery life. The flea bag, a backpack to hold all this crap. This is quite funny, and it actually looks pretty professional, but you may disagree.

The image links posted by Masked are really nice and look cool... hmm... what wud Apple guys think of the look... maybe will get something like that in the future... As for the screen size it is the same as Ipod mini, only that now it is color and the thickness of the ipod is the one that has changed more than nything else... Cheers

It looks very nice.. Surely it's receive a good customer support. It's very "cool"  and has everything we want on an audio player: MP3, USB 2.0, FM Radio, FM and voice recorder. Maybe what's missing is an equalizer though i really don't need it anyway. I got a nice deal of an iPod Nano 512MB costing €99.. It's not that expensive cause it's still on the launching price. (I think)

someone in my school has a ipod nano except it looks alot more different. the size is like alot smaller and slimmer. its as slim as 4-5 papers stacked on each size and its about half the length and width of the ipod mini. i dont really see the point in having a ipod that small cause it would be alot easier to lose and brake. its like what if you were eating a cracker and then you just bit the ipod nano. it doesnt make any sense to buy one and i dont even see the point why apple made a ipod nano. and whats the deal of having a ipod. a mp3 is alot cheaper. no one really actually needs like a 400gb memory for storing music. 400gb of music is like listening to music for 400,000 minutes because a song with 1mb is like 1 minute. and with the invention of ipod nano's theres no point to view a slideshow with it. also one more thing cause i dont know. how much memory does a ipod nano mostly store? 20gb?

I think Ipod mini is the best thing out ruight now....i understand how it is useless for pictures and stuff....but really who actually puts pics on an ipod.....its also a lil pricy cuz its like 20$ cheaper than 20 gb and i would personally buy 20b cuz o the memory and i dont like hving music players too small......but if it had more memory and they didnt make it look long then it would have been better but its still looks nice...and when people see that u have it ...they go crazy..and its the latest thing out right now..

the day they came out and a few weeks later the screen was bad so he couldn't see what he was
doing. He still could use it but couldn't see what it was saying on the screen. The person did
take very very good care of it and rarely took it out of its protective case. So has anyone else
purchased one of these? If so have you had good luck with them or do the screens go bad for you?....

person shooter called iDoom on it. linux does it again, putting commercial technology to shame.

Ipod Not Working, Need Help

got a 4 GB iPod Nano about a month ago. She had about 100 songs on it and one day they just
disappeared. Her normal PC won't recognize that she has the iPod plugged in, and her
stepdad's laptop will recognize it... But after she transfers all the songs, and she unplugs the
iPod from the laptop, she loses all of her songs again... She talked to an apple guy, but they said
she needed to do a system restore on it, but they didn't tell her how... And she can't ....
5th Generation Ipod!

My Ipod Is Randomly Skipping Songs, Losing Data,
regaining data, and freezing (23) This morning I was going to listen to some music, so I got my iPod, turned it on, and it reset (I
hadn't had it plugged in for a while). When I got to the music, it would go through half of a
song, then skip to the next. After doing this a couple times, it would just skip entire songs.
It'd skip six or seven, then do half of one, then skip six or seven more. Later I looked on the
internet for some ideas, so eventually I tried resetting it again, as instructed. This worked for a
little bit, but then it started skipping over songs again. I reset again, and it lost....

price for a mp3 player of that storage, the stoarge is 4gb, enought to fit all you albums on it. Why
