I realize this reply may seem lazy or not having pateince but the site I will be geting up soon will be for a buisness and it needs to be known is there any way of paying google or msn so they will better recgnzie your site? Im probebly mistaken but I thought geting your site listed on search engines cost money at least if you wanted your site to be in the top three results.

Ok i need some help, my site is indexed in msn and yahoo but not google, i have no google bot tags but i have a robots tag, why am i not getting indexed by google?

zach101, use the google adwords program, it is the best way to get tons of keyword related target visitors, i mean in english, you will get tons of visitors that you want, for the keywords you want, of the subject you want.

Bkag, this days, google search engine only tend to show up results including almost always only top level domains, which are .com , .net , and .org , the othe doamins are a big problem to show up in the results, even after 5 or 10 pages of results.

And if you have a subdomain (free hosting), it will be almost impossible to show up in the top results, and also very difficult to show up at all, but of course, there are a few exceptions, a few websites with subdomains that show up in the first 1/2/3 results.

Lyon i understand that subdomains dont get indexed but i am using a .co.uk domain , www.simcards-r-us.co.uk and www.ultimate-gadgets.co.uk (currently on a rediriect) and i am not getting indexed, and .co.uk does get indexed as easily as a .com i thought?

posting a sig line on forums is a good way of getting google to inde your site, but they in no way help PR unless you have a million of them!

google takes forever to include your site in the search results. i've a site that is doing well on msn and yahoo but still isn't in google!

trace-uk, that is happening exactly to my websites, google is "rejecting me"!

Bkag, google index domains and subdomains, all the same, but it shows results with almost .com domains only, with a few exceptions, of course, i had 3 of my sites on the top results for their subject keywords/keyphrases, but now they don't even show up, who knows what google "thinks" this days!

Yea, like I've heard other people say, adding a link to your site in your forum post footers here help. I added mine, and without trying to get into google through submitting to them, I eventually just popped up. So, so long as google spiders a site and your link shows up on the page somewhere, I think it will crawl through and look at your site too.

I don't think google is rejecting your sites, ro mine. I think they're just way too picky about sites to just instantly include them now. i think we're in the "sand box". the sand box is where google is rumoured to put your new site until it's shown to be updated enough times over a long period of time to help weed out spam sites.

Trace-Uk, i have my website now in the top google results, and i am going to show you just one of my websites.

I think you got abit lucky there lyon2!

Your keyword isn't exactly one that has alot of competition. To get a decent place in any search engine for any busy keyword you have to have a top-level-domain a .com, .net, .org, .info etc


Well done on the google ranking though!
