here i am at home use dialup 56k as Metal Gear Brett.
some times connect at 49, 45 40 even 33 k.
in the office just 64k.., share with about 40 users

either 256k or 512k upload speed. i kinda forgot which

it's DSL. unfortunantly, it has a habit of "hiccuping", as i like to call it. when i'm in a game or something, my connection will occasionaly just die for like 20 seconds or so. i dunno why it does that, but oh well

I'm in England with Bt Yahoo Broadband.

I checked with Speedtest.net to confirm, I'm afraid I have varying connections because I'm on a wireless network:
Downloading Speed: 2718 Kb per second.
Uploading Speed: 376 Kb per second.

As I say it's variable most days- today seems alright.

man my broadban connection suddenly ceased so I now have to use the isp's emergency dialup plan, but its ok, 56k I don't find it that slow, though before I was getting speeds of up to 4mbps

768kb I used to have 56k for a real long time. So the jump from that to this is great for me. It's plenty fast I guess. But I do wish I had like 10mb. That would be super awesome. I just wish I had faster upload speeds really. Download speeds are okay for me. I just hate waiting hours to upload pictures to my photo gallery on my website
