When I try to edit, remove, rename, or replace my index into my public_html folder. It does not work. Is there anyway to erase everything on your account, and start from scratch. Or a way to fix this problem. I have PMed and Emailed the admin but haven't gotten help, can anyone here help me?

Instead of saying "it does not work," you could give us a more detailed explanation of why it does not work and what you have done. Can you not upload the new index file? Does it give you an error when uploading the new index? Do you know how to upload the new index file? What is the name of the file that you are trying to replace? Is it index.php? index.htm? More information is needed to help you.

As of now, it looks like you have successfully replace the index file with a blank page: http://www.rpgdynastyonline.trap17.com/index.html. Normally, it would give you a message on how to start your new webhosting account if you have not replace the index file.

I do know how to replace it but it says my file is an empty file and says it has been uploaded. The file is index.html.

Meybe you try to change file by www link. I mean there two ways to post files on ftp to use by http

/home/user/public_html (real www directory)
and
/home/user/www (virtual link to public_html dir)

and if you use www they can be cashed on server and contain undate info about destination. So use real dir as destination.

when you decided to upload the index file.make sure you click the " change the original file" like this word on your filemanager.

This has happened to me previously, except it wasn't an important file like index.html.

I couldn't get rid of it. I left it alone until my hosting was reset later on..

Maybe you should try to delete it in an FTP client, I never tried that.
