| | I received an email today with the subject "Disk Usage Warning (critical)" from my a server named "server1.djbw.com". The message is,
QUOTE The account with the username 'delivi', is running out of disk space.
Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.
You have currently used 99.75% of your disk space.
I dont know from which hosting account I got this, is this realted to the Xisto network, the website, djbw.com, gives the server status of that website. please help me. I've used only 50MB in Trap17 and 10MB in Astahost. |

Please provide the full email header information. This will determine if the email is a legitimate email sent by Xisto server or a fake one. The reason it is assumed as a fake email is that your forum name is never associated (unless you set it so) with your hosting account: you should know that your Trap17 cPanel name was not used  right? Server administrative only sees your cPanel and domain information--they never associate with the forum information when sending an important notice like that. If the username used matches with your AstaHost cPanel account name, you should make your post at AstaHost; not in Trap17. If this turns out to be a fake email notice, someone is trying to phish your account information by following the link provided, perhaps.

well the actual site just shows server info and no searchs of come up about any phishing scams or otherwise about it. Also the info would be listing xisto servers and not from that site.

Memory Usage
(5) I have WordPress installed in my site. And I know the default memory-limit is 8 mb. What I would
like to know is how do I find out how much memory I am using and which process is using the most
amount of memory. Apparently, WordPress is consuming a lot of resources and when I tried adding a
new plugin to my site, they gave me an error saying that I have exceeded my memory limit of 8mb. Is
there a possibility for Trap17 to increase it to 16 mb? I am running very few plugins, and I
don't understand why this problem is occurring. Can someone assist me?....

(2) I am pretty much concerned about where this is going for my site. I am using WordPress to power it
and I have installed Counterize which basically tracks all the stats to my site, everything I want
to see, the IP address, DNS host, referrer, browser, search strings ... etc, but the problem is
after 1 month of using Counterize, I noticed, I have already used 1.88 MB of SQL Disk Space in the
1 year I have spent blogging. And I know the bulk of it is due to the Counterize plugin. QUOTE

Negative Disk Space Available
problems with cPanel (2) I log onto my site CPanel and I can't do anything. It says that my Disk space available is: -0.5
MB. Can someone please fix this problem? The problem has been solved. For some reason the CPanel

Bandwidth Mail
i´m receiving alerts about bandwith usage (3) Hello, I have received mails during this weeek telling me that my website had reached 80% of its
bandwidth limit. But I´ve checked it on cpanel and my stats are right now 813.99 / 5000 MB... and
I´m working these days on the site, constantly uploading and testing things so I suppose that
normally I wouldn´t use as much. But anyway it´s not near the limit and it´s definitely not around
80% so... what can I do? Am I doing something wrong? By the way, I haven´t experienced problems... I

Sudden surge in bandwidth usage (13) Hi: I am looking at my stats today, and I see a sudden surge in my bandwidth usage. I am
concerned, because I have used over a third of the monthly alottment. It seems like something
whacky is going on, but I don't know what to do. The number of unique visits has not
dramatically increased. However, the number of page views is abnormally high. Way too high and out
of porportion for the number of unique visits. For example, on October 3 I had 28,193 page views.
I don't think these are histology students causing that huge surge (nobody likes histology THA....
Question About Disk Space After Upgrade
My cPanel still says 20Mb (5) I've had my upgrade application accepted by my cPanel still says my disk usage is XMb/20Mb. Is

... (3) I created my new hosting account using the 'process' and then when I went to upload stuff
its says my disk space has been exceeded. I went to my cpanel yesterday (cant acccess it right now,

Large Files Warning Email
(0) i got a warning email telling me not to store large files on my t17 account. but in my cpanel, it
says that im using up 41.39 / 150.00 MB of my space, so.. im confused by the email... the largest

Warning To Msn Users
(13) I have just had about 5 contacts send me a link in about 2 minutes and then their computer crash
right afterwards. Im not positive if it is a virus, but the file extention tells me it is.

Regarding Bandwidth Usage
errors ? (2) Did any1 notice that the bandwidth usage on the frontpage of cpanel is actually DOUBLE the
bandwidth that u had actually used? U can go to section under bandwidth and see ur bandwidth usage.
For mine it stated that i've used 199.56 Meg but looking at the details it only total up to
99.78 Meg. But looking at the AWStats (updated) .. it stated that i;ve only use 77 Meg (including
traffic viewed + not viewed ) I need some advise about this .. because i think if i've used 200
mb for only day 4 of the month ... then im going to run out of bandwidth very soon....
