I already have an account and i also built a spreadsheet, it is very good and it is going to take some couple of thousands of microsoft clients, that is for sure!
This is a handy little feature as a Google service. Very easy to use. Its exellent for editing by two or more people in real time, this feature alone can save lots of time rather than emailing spreadsheet back and forth. The Google search and translator when in a cell is also another usefull feature not available in Excel. I am going to be using it a lot for sharing a spreadsheet I need to make for other people.
I didn´t know about spreadsheets. I suppose they are in beta testing. Google do things slowly but this way they make sure that when they launch the final version it´ll be almost perfect. ¿The first step to their office-alike suite that they said they´ll launch online? I just can´t wait, google always surprise me.

These are spreadsheets and they are the most wonderful thing you can even think of from the business point of view as they will save nearly $500 to using and sharing the .XLS files.

The only use I can really see myself using a Google spreadsheet thats pretty much web-based, is if i was gonna take my laptop on a business trip and if the other people that were gonna be at the meeting were going to have loads of data to put into it, being able to share the edits on it is great, and if the office doesn't have a network set up between the computers, then I can see it being a major plus. Another major plus is the pleasure of not having to use any space on the computer for large files or having to worry about what all programs you have running at the same time because on my laptop, its about all it can do to run excel and thats without running much of anything else with it. I guess it just depends on the users needs basically..
I'm a google fan... I've being using gmail for a long long time ago and I really don't wanna change it... I've seen Google Desktop and it's very usefull, not currently using it as I'm facing some problems on my windows and I'm going to format it soon, I hope so at least xD, I'm going to take a look at this google's spreadsheets which seems to be very practical... This is Google's answer to online biggest encyclopedia Wikipedia. Google is trying to spread its
arms on virtually everything in internet. They are encouraging people to contribute knowledge by

I was just about to see the new things that google were cranking out when I realized that most of
the softwares don't support Windows 98 SE anymore. My question is, why is it that google
stopped supporting Windows 98? I mean, Google Toolbar can work perfectly fine is they wanted to make
it compatible, are they somehow acting like the lapdog of Microsoft and forcing 98 users to move on? ....

I am using google apps as the mail server for my college's website but I can't figure out
how to enable single user sign on. The main problem is that everyone has to sign in through a page
hosted by google having some irrelevent content. Google check where the data is being posted from so
I cannot use a form of my own for this purpose. The page even has a javascript which prevents me
from using it in an iframe. I did some research and found out that I need to buy a public key
certificate to enable single user sign on (makes sense, google wants a secure login page....
Well it seems google is going into the ISP business now, today they announce "Google Apps Partner
Edition" for ISP and Web portals. Which basically are applications like email service and all that
other great stuff in which ISP's and portals don't have to concentrate so much on their own
servers with the same services. Of course they don't mention how much this package will cost
ISP and web portal owners but most likely, the package that you can purchase for $50 will
either be abotu the same or more, but that is my guess though. Yahoo mentions it in a....
So it is finally official.. A Google phone is definitely on the cards. Don't know yet how much
software from Google will actually go into it. Whether it will be the OS or just have all the Google
apps. So what would you buy? Apple iPhone or Google Phone? As far as I am concerned, I would rather
wait for the Google Phone and see what it has. Then make a choice. The iPhone may be cool but it
lacks 3G which would makes its use as a PDA very limited as download speeds would be slow.....

First of all this is off topic but i really couldn't find any other place to put it. I was on
youtube.com the other day just browsing and i noticed a video of a demonstration on how to get
Google T.V service from an easter egg on gmail. It all seemed real, it was a pretty professional

Has anyone come across it? Its part of google labs and its fairly new i think. Its just a 1.4mb
setup file. I installed it and it appears down the bottom right of your screen (Where it shows time,
USB Chips, Anti virus etc). It shows you how much time you have saved just to the left of where you
type your website URL. It works for both dial up and DSL/Cable/Broadband whatever you call it
although you need to optimize it. Its default is DSL so if you have Dial up, right click the logo >>
Preferences and you can change it. Has anyone used this before?....
